Moin moin,
kann jemand von euch ein Programm zum Files splitten empfehlen? Hab da so ein paar Dateien, die nicht auf eine CD passen und die würde ich gern auf 2 drauf brennen. Dazu brauche ich noch ein gutes Prog zum Splitten... Welches ist das beste? Danke schon mal! :)

Wieso packst Du die Datei nicht mit Winrar/Winzip und stellst in den Optionen eine feste maximale Dateigroesse, zB 650MB, ein?
Das ist so das einfachste was mir im Moment einfaellt...

so schauts aus. winrar ist dafür super.
wenn du versuchen willst, die dateien doch noch auf eine CD zu bekommen, kann ich nur 7-zip empfehlen. komprimiert nämlich nochmal besser als winrar, unterstützt aber bislang noch keine multi archive :(

Mal schauen...
Kennt denn doch jemand noch nen empfehlenswertn Splitter? WinRAR geht gut, aber Video-Dateien z.B. kann man dann nicht mehr angucken, ohne sie zu entpacken... Brauche ich dafür vielleicht sogar ne Video-Bearbeitungssoftware?

Mit entsprechender Software kannst Du einen Film in 2 oder mehr Teile teilen.

Darf ich 'ne Empfehlung geben?
Schneide MPEGs mit TMPGEnc und AVIs mit VirtualDubMod.
MPEGs: TMPGEnc starten, File / MPEG-Tools / Cut & Join, Dein MPEG hinzufügen, Doppelklick drauf, den gewünschen Bereich einstellen, dann noch 'nen Dateinamen vergeben und Vorgang starten.
AVIs: ist etwas komplizierter, auf http://www.doom9.org unter Guides findest Du dazu was.
Aber wahrscheinlich hast Du eh eine .MPG-Datei, die knapp 800 MB (knapp 830 Millionen Bytes) groß ist.
Ich danke euch, ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe! =)
"Normale" Dateien also mit WinRAR und MPEGs mit TMPGEnc.

"Splitter.exe" ist ein kleines Freeware-Programm, das es in sich hat.

Ich kenne da DynaSplit.

DynuSplit will cut a large file into smaller pieces to enable ease of portability.
The final set of files generated are independent and donot need this program to be put
together. Rejoin.bat file generated along with final set of files can be executed to

Target Path: The folder where you would like the small files to be copied to.
Size of files can be either 1.44MB(3.5" floppy size) or a custom size in bytes can

Please note that rejoin.bat file must be in same directory as the small files.
