Hallo Leute,

matmike@ROMEO:~> 3Ddiag

with the command "3Ddiag --mesasoft".

GLU ... done (package mesaglu)
glut ... done (package mesaglut)

Die Ausgabe von glxgears:
matmike@ROMEO:~> glxgears
354 frames in 5.0 seconds = 70.800 FPS
375 frames in 5.0 seconds = 75.000 FPS
Das ist wohl auch ein bisschen wenig.

Hier die Ausgabe von lsmod:
fglrx 173320 198

GL_VENDOR: ATI Technologies Inc.
GL_RENDERER: Radeon 9800 Athlon (3DNow!)
GL_VERSION: 1.3 (X4.3.0-3.2.8)
FATAL: fglX11CMMFreeSurface: firegl_FreeBuffer() failed!

Danke,
MatMike

Schau mal ob dein AGPGART-Treiber richtig lädt.

Hier also meine XF86Config:

hmm, würde ich mal auf "no" setzen..

Option "UseInternalAGPGART" "yes"

Wurde auch das "agpgart" Modul geladen?
Evt.

kommt dann:
/usr/lib/libGL.so: symbolic link to /usr/lib/opengl/ati/lib/libGL.so.1.2
?

matmike
2003-10-16, 18:43:11
Nein, das sieht so aus:
matmike@ROMEO:~> file /usr/lib/libGL.so
/usr/lib/libGL.so: symbolic link to libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1.2.xf86_glx libGL.so.1.4.mesasoft

zitat ati-readme:

" Installing the ATI Linux driver package
causes a conflict because the ATI Linux drivers include a custom-built
libGL version providing extra pbuffer support. The ATI libGL is backward
compatible to the respective XFree86 libGL version.

Install the ATI Linux driver package and replace the existing libGL
installation as follows:

- Force RPM to use the replacement file of the ATI driver package:
rpm -i --force <ati_package_name>.rpm
NOTE: This includes overriding the rpm warning

or

- Remove the existing libGL installation and then install the new libGL
with the ATI driver installation. "

rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2003-10-14 19:50 libGL.so.1 -> GL/libGL.so.1.2.xf86_glx

matmike@ROMEO:/usr/lib> glxgears
1047 frames in 5.0 seconds = 209.400 FPS
1120 frames in 5.0 seconds = 224.000 FPS
960 frames in 5.0 seconds = 192.000 FPS
800 frames in 5.0 seconds = 160.000 FPS
1200 frames in 5.0 seconds = 240.000 FPS
960 frames in 5.0 seconds = 192.000 FPS
880 frames in 5.0 seconds = 176.000 FPS

Danke,
