Abit NF7 + Maxtor Powermax Probleme

hi,

ich versuche gerade eine Maxtor 80 Gb in meinem neuen NF7 zu lowlevel formatieren. beim booten wird die platte einwandfrei erkannt. wenn ich dann das powermax tool starte und bei der 2. aufforderung F8 drücke geht das tool aus und ich stehe wieder in der dos eingabeaufforderung..

wenn ich die platte an meinem pci-raidcontroller anschliesse startet das tool ohne probleme, leider formatiert er an dem controller aber sehr langsam!

hat irgendjemand nützliche tips? bioseinstellungen o.Ä.? hab mit nf2 biosen noch nicht so viel erfahrung.
