"The U.S. Army has enlisted as the newest
sponsor of the AMD/ATI Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships in Las Vegas
at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The Army's America's Army: Special
Forces game will be the center of a premier competition at the championships,
Thursday - Sunday, Jan. 8 - 11 at the Stardust Resort and Casino and the
Riviera Hotel and Casino.
Registration for 32 spots is now available for the six-man teams. All
teams that sign up before Friday, Jan. 2 at http://www.cyberxgaming.com/registration
will receive a 50 percent discount off the $75 registration fee.
Viewers will be able to see the live action during the tournament at www.hltv.org
and www.cyberxgaming.com.
"Tournaments have become an increasingly important vehicle for raising
awareness of the America's Army game and our presence at the Cyber X Gaming
event will certainly further enhance the game's popularity among the gaming

The America's Army: Special Forces action game focuses on the critical,
specialized role of the Army's Special Forces within the U.S. Army as they
fight the Global War on Terrorism. In America's Army: Special Forces,

America's Army: Operations game released in 2002 continuing player progression
