Stereo driver for Windows XP

Hi,

I have a problem with my GeForce3 Ti200 (ASUS 8200 deluxe) and the german version of WindowsXP.

Every time I try to install the stereo drivers from the Nvidia homepage (release date something like 12.12.2001) I can not access my advanced grafic settings any more. It always tells me "can not find dialog S85". And rundll32.exe crashes. I had the same problem already in Windows2000 and with several new installations of Windows XP on my system. But as soon as i remove the driver everything is fine again, except for the fact, that I don't have stereo at all.
Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but i solved it by installing the nvidia driver 2.7.4.2

Thanks for your replay,
but I'm already running the same drivers (2.7.4.2) and there is still the same problem:
"Unable to find dialog 85"
I also tried to install the display drivers on top of the stereo and the other way around - no luck...

Any other suggestions?

Yes, Sir!

Äh, als Leser der Computerbild beherrsche ich nur Denglish, darum in Deutsch. Vielleicht übersetzt es netterweise jemand...Ich nehme an, daß Du Deutsch passiv beherrschst, sollte also klappen.

Nutze die Suchfunktion von Windows. Suche foldende Dateien:

Nvrs*.dll

Diese Dateien sind für die multilungualfähigkeit der Treiber wichtig! Lösche direkt aus dem Suchprogramm heraus die Datei Nvrsde.dll. Damit ist das Problem gelöst!

Jetze in Denglish (hehehe)

Use the search-function. Search for "nvrs*.dll". Erase only "nvrsde.dll".

Thats all.
