Netzwerk Speed bei jedem PC gleich!?

Hey,

Irgendwie hab ich in meinem Netzwerk das Problem das ich bei einem PC etwa mit 56k Geschwindigkeit surfe und auf dem anderen die restlich Bandbreite von den 600k verwende!?
Da wollte ich mal fragen ob es da vielleicht eine Möglichkeit gibt das so zu verteilen das jeder gleich viel empfangen kann, weil ich langsam stress mit meinem Kollegen kriege...

ehrlich gesagt , kapiere ich kein wort von dem text, den du geschrieben hast..

wenn du xp verwendest musst du beim client mal die bandbreiten beschränkung auf heben. die ist auf 20% eingestellt. und dann mal mit dfü speed auf beiden rechner mal die paketgröße einstellen.

Exakt, das ist ein Gerücht welches sich hartnäckig hält.

Clarification about QoS in End Computers That Are Running Windows XP

As in Windows 2000, programs can leverage QoS through the QoS application programming interfaces (APIs) in Windows XP. One hundred percent of the network bandwidth is available to be shared by all programs unless a program specifically requests priority bandwidth. This "reserved" bandwidth is still available to other programs unless the requesting program is sending data. By default, programs can reserve up to an aggregate bandwidth of 20 percent of the underlying link speed on each interface on an end computer. If the program that reserved the bandwidth is not sending enough data to utilize it completely, the unused portion of the reserved bandwidth is available for other data flows on the same host.

Was wollt ihr über meine Konfig wissen?
Ich weiss immer noch nicht was ich tun kann...
Jedenfalls gehe ich über einen Switch auf meinen Router und die anderen PCs auch, IP hab ich fest eingestellt.
OS hab ich WinXP, Cayman 3351 Router
auf dem anderen PC hab ich Win2000
dazu kommt noch ein AP von Netgear (WG602v2)

Nur wenn ich die Einstellungen ändere wird mir das was helfen, irgendwie versteh ich das nicht ganz ich meine normalerweise müsste er die Bandbreite auto einstellen oder?
