forget it. The ram of the 5900XT cannot manage over 850Mhz in 99%!
Overclock your Card manual and show what is the maximum.
You can flash your Card most to a 5900.

its just that a 5900 xt cant manage the rates that are used for a 5950 ultra. if ur lucky that card can manage 5900 rates!

There is no chance to flash a 5900xt to a 5950 beacause the xt hasn´t the fast hynix ram. Also the chip model is not the same like a 5900 normal or a 5950

In fact, the most essential problem ist the different layout of the xt compared to the 5900se, 5900xt, 5900u, 5950u. Not the slower ram.
Your card isn't able to reach 950, even if you cool it with nitrogen. ;)
