Hi,

gmax ist ein kostenloses Spiele-Entwicklung Kit.
Ist das wirklich eine abgespeckte Version von 3D Studio MAX?
Kann man damit auch Animationen machen?

Gibt es da eine deutsche Seite dafür?

Jawoll, abgespeckte Version von 3DSmax und SEHR empfehlenswert. Tutorialseiten sollte es überall geben - das beste Tutorial ist aber bereits in Gmax enthalten.

wird das eigentlich noch weiterentwickelt? darüber hört man ja auch nichts mehr.

As of October 16, 2005 AutoDesk Media and Entertainment has discontinued and no longer supports Gmax. Instead, the company has decided to focus on 3ds Max. However, the last version of Gmax is available for free to download from the official support website.
