In fact we invented the concept of a VPU software suite (combining more than just graphic card drivers), along with other innovations (that was also the first time a simple slider let the user choose the performance/image quality).

[ATi] Again, we do support it. We just do not have anything ready for public release yet.

Auch die DivX Beschleunigung bei der Wiedergabe entlastet die CPU (hm, was verbraucht mehr Strom: Mein 2500+ oder meine 9800 Pro?)

Ich habe einige Futurama- und Simpsonsfolgen auf dem Rechner. Wenn ich die Quali auf maximal im DivX Player (bzw. Deblocking und Diringing zB mit BSPlayer) setze, erscheinen an Türrahmen hässliche Blöckchen in diesen Trickfilmen. Wenn die ATi's Hardwarebeschleunigung im DivX Player aktiviert ist, verschwinden diese.
