Announcing FD Tach
FD Tach is a based on the new Tach benchmark library written for the recently released HD Tach. It is targeted towards flash devices. Flash memory is everywhere today, in your MP3 player, your digital camera, pen drive/USB key chains and more. Flash memory is different than rotating storage such as hard drives as it is created from solid state memory chips with unique performance characteristics.
FD Tach Beta supports only Windows 2000 and Windows XP. We will evaluate the need to support these operating systems after FD Tach is released.
