Hallo allerseits,
wie sieht es eigentlich mit der Unterstützung von registered ECC Speicher auf aktuelleren Boards mit einem Sockel A aus?
Nach dem, was ich mir bisher zusammengeklaubt habe, unterstützen wohl zumindest VIA-Chipsätze grundsätzlich diese Speicherart, tatsächlich läuft der Speicher aber nur in Boards mit entsprechendem BIOS. Wobei nicht die ECC-Unterstützung das Problem ist, sondern die von registered Speicher. Richtig?
So sagt zB www.crucial.com über das Abit KD7...

Stimmt die Annahme, daß ein Board registered auf jeden Fall unterstützen muß, ECC aber nicht?
Hat jemand vielleicht eine Übersicht zur Hand oder kann mir ein, zwei brauchbare aktuelle Boards nennen?
