"After months of rumour and speculation, the Watchman can exclusively reveal that the new album from The Nephilim is set to be unleashed on the world in early 2005. It is a natural progression of the band's classic sound which crescendoed as far back as 1991 with the release of the hugely successful album 'Elizium'. News of The Nephilim's reanimation will come as a delight to all those who have waited patiently for the next chapter in the name of the Nephilim.
In order to bring the as yet unspoken new album to its greatest potential The Nephilim have signed with German record company SPV - who have worked with the band worldwide for the past 15 years and handle a wide range of leading international artistes. Naturally, SPV are ecstatic about the deal. As A & R man Gero Herrde puts it:
'We are very pleased to be working together again with Carl and the band. SPV look forward to the release of what we see as the best material ever produced by them. It has all the elements of classic Fields of the Nephilim. It is hypnotic and inspiring, and out there in a league of its own.'
