Interessant...

Ooo,yes it is.It's a serial point to point bus.

A point to point connection can't be a bus ;)

O.K. smart guy,now tell me how do you define a bus?

point to point = port, the component using the port has all the bandwith
bus = several components use the same lane and share Bandwith
ex: a road from A to B with no junctions cld be a port
if there is one or more junctions in the road, it would be a bus

So the processor's FSB (front side bus)is also a port because it only conects the processor with the north bridge? ;D

On Socket/Slot A systems (the K8 doesn't really have an FSB) yes but not on Intel plattforms there the FSB is indeed a bus...

strictly speaking yes, as not every term used inm written or spoken reflects the underlying specs. AGP f.i. is a port, but when you speak about it's frequencies you call it "Bus Speed". Sure you are aware of this or aren't you?

PCIe ist ein Bus in Stern-Topologie. :D
