Aber klar, wozu geniale Grafik, wenn's auch mit der wirklich unschönen PS1.1-Optik läuft?

Warum dann nicht gleich die Quali auf 'low', den Treiber auf 'high performance' und per Hack die Texturen entfernen?

...wollte ich nur angemerkt haben.
Also nun wollen wir mal PS 3.0 nich besser machen als es ist. Wenn der Threadersteller mit Medium spielt, dann hat sich auch was gedacht dabei!
Sicher siehts im High und Ultra Modus alles viel besser aus, aber ich finde eine ordentliche Frameanzahl angenehmer, als glatte Kanten oder scharfe Texturen...

Ja, wenn du HDR aktivierst wird FC den FP16 Modus verwenden. Ist sowieso der einzige der überhaupt funktioniert.
Nein, das hat damit eigentlich nichts zu tun. FC unterstützt einfach nur 4 Formate für die Normalmap compression. Das Nvidia aber aus 3Dc V8U8 macht ist logisch den von man 3Dc entpackt bekommt man zuerst eine V8U8 Texture.

Das "Not using Pixelshaders gefällt mir garnicht. Und in den Videooptions steht bei mir Render Mode Normal. Ich kann aber nichts Anderes einstellen. Was auch komisch ist, dass ich bei Texture Filter Quality nichts höheres als Medium einstellen kann weil er es einfach ignoriert.
Als Hardware habe ich einen Pentium 4 2,66 Ghz, 512MB Ram und eben eine Geforce 6600 GT.
Wäre cool wenn mir jemand sagen könnte wie ich in der Demo die beste Grafikquality oder HDR einstellen kann.Das dürfte daran liegen, dass FC Deine 6600 noch nicht kennt und deswegen in den Kompatibilitätsmodus (i.e. keine Shader) geht... muss mal zuhause nachschaun', welche Datei dafür angepaßt werden muss... bei HL2 war's die dxsupport.cfg und bei FC war's wohl ähnlich... wie gesagt, muss mal schaun'.
