Hiho...

vor kurzem ( also heute ) hab ich nun mein Systemupgrade durchgeführt ( neues Mobo, neue Festplatten ) und stehe nun vor einem Problem, welches ich selbst durch 3 maliges Neuinstallieren ( winxp sp2 ) noch nicht lösen konnte ...

im Gerätemanager fehlen die Processors und im Taskmanager wird nur eine CPU angezeigt ... ( gleiches bei WCPUID, CPUZ od. Sandra )

habe auch schon mal von ACPI System auf Standard PC umgestellt, was auch nix gebracht hat ... ( was zu erwarten war ;) )

was mich verwundert ist, dass die vorhandene CPU überall als CPU1 angezeigt wird ( sprich, nur der HT Teil würde laufen *schulterzuck* )

Bios Update hab ich auch schon 2 x gemacht ( 1004 und 1005beta )

Ein Anhaltspunkt ist vielleicht die Fehlermeldung, die der AI Booster ausspuckt, wenn ich diesen starten will ...

"Access violation at address 0124c70c in module ÁOverClk.dll. Read of Adress 00000008"

die Komponenten ( NT, CPU, Ram, IDE CD/DVD etc. ) sind vorher ohne Probleme auf einem MSI 865PE Neo 2 gelaufen ... ( auch HT war aktiv )

jetzt das beste .. das System läuft ansonsten vollkommen normal! ( bis auf die Tatsache, dass HT nicht funzt .. was mich sehr stört )

( ach ja, Bios Defaults usw. hab ich schon alles durch ... PAT is aus, Dualchannel an, nix Oced ... default halt )

anbei noch ein CPU-Z dump ... :(

.... irgend welche Ideen? ( systemrest siehe sig )

Also mag ja aussehn als wenn es nicht an ist aber es doch an ist.

Wie reagieren den die Programme ?

Lass mal Super pi laufen und gleichzeitig 3dmark01, in edmark 01 solten weniger punkte raus kommen wie üblich dann ist HT an, solte ganz normal ergebnisse kommen ist HT aus.

Also 2 möglichkeiten, Board Schrott, ganz sicher das es in bios an ist ?
Ansosten software Prob, aber wenn du schon neu drauf gemacht hast solte dies nicht sein.

eigentlich solte es beu i865 kein prob sein, aber besser erst mal so fehler raus bekommen.
also würde mal mit 1 riegel versuchen.

ich hab grade nochmal ebend ne Repair Installation drueber laufen lassen und siehe da ... HT wird nun überall angezeigt!

vorher war es wirklich aus ( mit Seti getestet )

Was ich nicht verstehe ist, dass selbst nach 2 x neuinstallieren das Problem immer wieder da war ... ( ja, ich hab auch formatiert *g* )

PAT war aus ( hat damit aber wie du schon sagst nix zu tun eigentlich ... )

Ich verstehs zwar immer noch nicht, aber nun scheint alles ok zu sein *schulterzuck* ...werd wohl nochmal ein Auge drauf werfen müssen ;)

Um den AI Booster zum laufen zu kriegen, musst du in der Systemsteuerung, Ländereinstellungen das Dezimaltrennzeichen von KOMMA auf PUNKT ändern. Dann sollte er laufen.

Ansonsten kenne ich Probs mit dem MB nicht. Habe hier 2 Stück in Verwendung.

das war 100%ig an ... ich hab wie gesagt insgesamt 3 x neuinstalliert ( schon beim 1. mal hab ich alles geprueft, was es zu pruefen gibt :) )

der Tip mit dem AI-Booster hat geholfen ... vielen Dank dafuer.

ich habe folgenden super bug:

ich habe win xp sp2, und eine ht cpu.


jedesmal wenn ich windows starte, ist es wie in der lotterie.

mal habe ich 2 cpus im taskmanager, beim nächsten reboot nur 1.


ich habe alles durchprobiert, erfolglos.

bios updates, bios settings, mainboard tausch, neueste treiber,
neuinstallation...


allerdings läuft ansonsten alles tadellos, 5 stunden prime95 stresstest
ohne fehler
