Hi!

Ich muss ne kleine Hausaufgabe in Englisch abgeben und würde daher gerne um eure Hilfe bitten.
Dass ihr nun inhaltlich nicht viel sagen könnt ist mir klar, aber vielleicht zumindest sprachlich ;)

English LK 13 Homework

Task number 4:

As in Matrix, the psychological manipulation of Brave New World provides only happiness for the ignorant. Would a struggle for truth and freedom from manipulation be worth it? Think of what you would gain and what you would lose!
a. Deception vs. truth, or appearance vs. reality, has been a central theme in other works of fiction discussed in class. Relate these critically to Brave New World.

In my opinion a struggle for truth and freedom from manipulation would be worth, because of the limited human rights you can find in Brave New World.
Bearing in mind that that you have lost your individuality and your identity, cloning objectifies the human race by treating them as objects of manipulation.
The “new World” lost culture and tradition created by great individuals and trims life opportunities to just one single way.
On the other hand in Brave New World the human being receives a kind of enduring happiness. A satisfaction builds on a conditioned race system.
Indubitably it’s a reason for the “new World”.
But you have to take into account that you will lose all your purposes in life and your own feelings and emotions.
The World created by Aldous Huxley is just a gigantic appearance and lie for the human race.
Undeniably it is not possible to look behind the front.
It is important to distinguish between the real world or the world the society tries to present and indoctrinate.
As in the movie Matrix the human being lives in a vision.
A vision based on distinct values and norms.
I reached the conclusion that the “new World” may be look like a good option.
But a closer look reveals a lack of support for the human self-realization.

Danke!

() = Was gelöscht

Inhaltlich... etwas.. oberflächlich, finde ich. Hab Brave New World aber nocht nicht ganz gelesen. ;(
