ich würde ATI nicht unterschätzen.... es gibt bisher weder bestätigte noch offizielle specs des R520.

wer sich jetzt eine 7800er kauft wird es *vielleicht* beim launch des R520 bereuen ;)


PS: nur zur info: es gibt auch kein offizielles datum.

The R520 is going to have 32 pixelpipelines but there will be reduced ones with 24 pipes (similar to the current X800pro --> X800XT situation) and slower RAM (550-600mhz instead of 800mhz).

Clockspeeds are not yet definitive but will be around 500mhz for the 32 pipes edition and ~450mhz for the 24 pipes chip.

Also expect some great news in terms of aa AND af.

stay tuned..... it's really worth the extra time.
