Erster Mod-Chip für 360er aufgetaucht

Infinitymods hat nach eigenen Angaben den ersten funktionierenden XBOX 360 Modchip gebaut.

Der I.C.E genannte Chip soll in Kürze verfügbar sein und rund 70 US-Dollar zuzüglich 20 Dollar für die Kabel kosten. Damit soll es laut dem Entwickler möglich sein gebrannte Kopien von Spielen zu starten.Auf der Website (http://www.icemodchip.com/) ist inzwischen ein „Beweisvideo“ online, das jedoch nicht unbeding eindeutig ist, sodass nach wie vor Zweifel an der Echtheit der Meldung angebracht sind.

Angeschlossen wird der Chip über 25 bis 30 Kabel, dürfte also nicht ganz einfach zu installieren sein. Zudem wird Microsoft sicher nicht schlafen und alsbald die Lücke, sofern möglich mit neuen Updates auf neuen Spielen schließen.
