wer feiern kann, kann auch arbeiten, und so wie nVidia feiert, brauchen sie vor niemanden zu fürchten (http://www.ina-community.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=189642 von der diesjährigen Siggraph):
Then the show closed down at 6pm and Nvidia revealed the most brillaint marketing stratagy I have ever seen. "The riverwalk" is a small venice italy style river that dead ends into the convention center where Siggraph was. Along the edge of the Riverwalk there are nothing but hotels, restaurants, bars clubs, etc.
We went out to get boozed up and talk tech like everyone else at the show and soon realized why Nvidia had been so minimal at the show. they had dozens of women (the good looking kind mostly) handing out green glow in the dark Nvidia buttons to everyone, and I mean as in hundreds of people everyone, even if they were locals who had no idea "what an Nvidia was" as one old man put it. These buttons got you into every bar and restaurant with no cover charge. We were also given a green piece of paper good for a free drink at any participating venue. We went to 6 bars and 3 clubs last night (I'm hungover by the way) At each one of these places (I kid you not) every server, bartender, host and bouncer was wearing Nvidia T-shirts. there were posters, green strobe lighting to match the Nvidia logo. they played A.I. the movie on big screens to go along with the theme at one club. Here was my favorite part. Nvidia had the bars giving out all drinks in plastic "Nvidia beverage" cups (I brought 4 of them back with me) . We werent sure what to drink until I spotted the sign at the bar-"Tonight only special the "GeForce Slammer", 'The GeForce' was a whiskey sour blended in ice like a margarita, and 'the Slamer' was something else that tasted very good and made you very inebriated. Good stuff.
There were tour boats on the river throwing the buttons into large crowds of people. by the end of the night I saw dozens of people wearing 3 or more buttons. I saw a three year old with two of them stuck on his eyes as his mom pushed the stroller. It was insane - BTW San Antonio knows how to throw a party as the entire area looked like Mardi Gras if it were sponsered by Nvidia.

I saw two exibitors from ATI out on the street staring in horror. It was pretty funny. All in all Nvidia raped ATI. hopefully I can post some pics if I get hold of any. (me forgot me camera)

Na wenn aus dem NV30 sich so ein erfolgreiches Produkt entwickelt.

Andererseites kann man auch sagen: Wird nVidia jetzt MS Methoden übernehmen.
