Creative hat neue Treiber released. Eine weitere Beta die vielleicht das Knaxen entfernt...

edit: Habe selbst nur drüberinstalliert; das Knacksen beim Abspielen eines ac3 Samples bleibt aber; deshalb frage ich.

Das ist mir schon klar. Nur leider hat sich bei mir nichts zum Positiven gewendet; im Gegenteil, das Knacksen ist bei mir subjektiv sogar stärker geworden. Deshalb war das ein bisschen provokant und ironisch gemeint.

Bei mir geht es jetzt, seit ich die Latenzen des RAM auf "normal" geschraubt habe. Keine Abstürze, kein BTD mehr. Das "Knacksen" hat sich auf gelegentliches Geräusch reduziert, kann man getrost ignorieren. Ist zwar keine feine Lösung, aber wenigstens ist jetzt "Stabilität" vorhanden ;)

!Achtung der Treiber hat, aus welchen Grund auch immer, keine Freigabe für die "X-Fi Elite PRO"!

With regards to the X-Fi Elite Pro. A small bug was found in this driver that can cause a slowdown at shutdown, when you are running Cubase LE. If you do not run Cubase LE or are prepared to put up with this (minor) problem, then it is absolutely fine to install this driver for the X-Fi Elite Pro aswell. The driver team hopes to have this problem fixed soon, but I just wanted to give you all a heads up, if you want to install the driver in the meantime.

nö geht nett hab ich mir schon gedacht ist ja der selbe Rotz.
= ein vorhandenes Profil behält die Hardware Einstellung,erstelle ich jetzt mal ein Single Prfil zum Testen geht nix nur Software und natürlich ist dann auch die Online Einstellung weg und läßt sich nicht mehr auf Hardware stellen.
Zurück zum alten Treiber (04)alles in Butter.

"If you encounter this problem, we recommend that you reinstall your Sound Blaster X-Fi drivers as follows:


Browse to *:\Audio\Drivers on the X-Fi installation CD (where * is your CD/DVD Rom Drive letter).
Double-click Setup.exe to run the Creative Driver Update Utility.
Under Update Option check the Driver Uninstallation box.
Check the Delete all shared Creative audio driver files box.
Click OK.
Click Yes to the warning that follows.
Click OK to proceed with the uninstallation.
When prompted, click OK to reboot your system.
When your system has rebooted, click Cancel when Windows detects new hardware.
Repeat steps 1 and 2.
Under Update Option check the Driver installation box.
Click OK.
Reboot PC when prompted.
Relaunch Battlefield2.
You can now apply Sound Blaster X-Fi settings in the game's audio settings and proceed.

If the difficulty persists, you can manually search and rename the following three files in your computer, and then install the Sound Blaster X-Fi again.

Demnach sollte ja nur mit dieser Einschränkung zu rechnen sein, und nicht damit das sich der Treiber erst garnicht installieren lässt.

Dazu hab ich nur eins zu sagen ersten kein IE und wegen Creative Cookies werd ich auch keinen nutzen!

Der alte läuft und fertig die ticken doch nicht richtig.

manman echt,vieleicht sollte man den Deppen mal sagen das BF2 bei Treiber 1.3 ist und 1.4 steht vor der Tür...........was solls der `04 er läuft bei mir ohne Murren knattern rauschen was weis ich..das ist doch genau der selbe wie der Beta nur ohne Einschränkung und die openal Dateien soll man eh aus dem 04er nutzen....so ein Saftladen echt...

der neue treiber hat KEIN Timelimit zumindest kam bei mir kein fenster dasser abläuft
warum sollte auch ein WHQL Treiber ablaufen ist ja kein Beta treiber mehr

So, habe gerade einfach mal so meinen Kopfhörer aufgesetzt. In der Standard Konfiguration nach Treiberinstallation im Game Modus Knacken und Knistern, solange der Aux2 Anschluss nicht gemutet ist....

Jut neuer Treiber - bei mir gehen schon mal Audiokonsole etc. nicht (unterstützte Audiogeräte nicht gefunden...). In der Hardwaresys. wird korrekt X-Fi angezeigt :ugly: . Hab jetzt keine Lust mehr drüber nachzudenken, ist ja gleich Fußball....
