Wunder geschehen immer wieder, das Team von SWG Emu (http://www.swgemu.com/) hat sich dazu durchgerungen das Projekt am 9.6.06 open source zu schicken.
Mit etwas glück werden bald die ersten pre NGE, villeicht sogar pre CU SWG server am start sein. :uup:

rein technisch komplett kostenlos! (der client wird benötigt, den man sich aber auch 4free saugen kann, von der 10 tage trial.)

SWG ist im grunde genommen ein sehr komplexes MMORPG, jedoch hat SOE ein MMFPSRPG draus gemacht, NGE publish sei dank... *hust*
Das SWG Emu Projekt wird ohne die New Game Enhancement an start gehen! *freu*

Das SOE SWG kann man sich hier (http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/index.vm?destination=trynow) saugen und antesten (10tage).
Jedoch kommt man nicht auf die "richtigen" Planeten (Tatooine, Naboo, Corellia ect.) sondern kann nur auf so einer start Station abhängen und questen.

Ich währe schon froh wenn es überhaupt erstmal einen Server giebt. ;)
Hier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV8FDxErztg&search=swg%20emu) giebt es ein Video vom SWG Emu alpha test, Kreaturen und NPCs spawnen lassen ect.
Auf deb Umfang muss man gar nicht weiter eingehen, NGE=9 Professions.
Pre-NGE=32 Professions die frei miteinander kombinierbar sind.
Und nein, Jedi war damals noch keine start Profession. ;)

€dit, mit der SWG Trial schaut es wohl nicht gut aus...

Anmerkung: Ob die Trial-Version von SWG funktioniert kann ich euch leider nicht sagen. Probiert es einfach selber aus. Von meiner Seite aus wird es jedoch kein Support zu diesem Thema geben.
