Das wichtigste ist PlainOldFavorites um im IE und Firefox die gleichen Bookmarks zu haben...
Auf BetterSearch und ImageZoom will ich auch nicht mehr verzichten, und NoScript, AdBlock und PermitCookies sind mir aus Sicherheitsgründen wichtig.

Ja, klar. Alles müllig und lolig. :hammer:

Adblock Plus ist ja selbstverständlich, aber mein absoluter Lifesaver, der mir mindestens 2 Nervenzusammenbrüche erspart hat ist Clear Fields.

Erklärung:

Windowsuser können in der Regel nur mit Markieren+Rechtsclick+Kopieren etwas in die Zwischenablage einfügen und dann mit Rechtsclick+Einfügen dieses beispielsweise ins Suchfeld oben rechts einfügen. Steht bereits etwas aus einer vorherigen Suche im Suchfeld, so lässt es sich zuerst mit Doppelclick markieren und Einfügen überschreibt das Feld dann.

Unter Linux funktioniert die natürlich auch, aber der Xserver bietet ja noch eine zweite Zwischenablage, in die automatisch alles markierte wandert. Ich markiere also etwas auf einer Website und es befindet sich bereits in der Ablage, ein einfacher Middleclick und es wird in das Suchfeld eingefügt. Dumm nur wenn sich bereits etwas im Feld befindet, dann wird durch das Markieren des alten Inhalts auch die zweite Zwischenablage überschrieben, mir bliebe also nur der umständliche Windowsweg.

Hier kommt Clear Fields ins Spiel, es erlaubt das hinzufügen von Löschbuttons zur Symbolleite. Ein Click darauf und das Feld ist jungfräulich rein, ein Middleclick und meine Ablage ist eingefügt.

Gibt es ein Plugin mit dem ich die Oberfläche vom Firefox in so eine Art Nachtmodus setzen kann?
Soll heissen wenn ich Nachts am rechner sitze, weniger weiss zu sehen ist und genrell die hellen Farben durch Dunklere getauscht werden.
Gibt es so etwas?

gibts eine extension die die intellitxt (grüne links) oder wie die heissen blockt oder nur auf klick öffnet? auf manchen seiten ist das richtig ätzend wenn man mit der maus über die seite fährt und überall ploppen diese dinger auf.

Als einziges.

Mausgesten fand ich von Opera her genial (Meine Maus hat "nur" 3 Tasten), für'n IE hatte ich mal Maxthon, aber der war viel zu überladen.

Insofern hab ich etz nen kleinen, schnellen Browser (der is mir auch ohne Speed-Plugins, etc.) schnell genug.

gibts eine extension die die intellitxt (grüne links) oder wie die heissen blockt oder nur auf klick öffnet? auf manchen seiten ist das richtig ätzend wenn man mit der maus über die seite fährt und überall ploppen diese dinger auf.
Du kannst mit Adblock die URL von IntelliTXT blockieren.

Was der Fuchs aber ohne nicht kann: Rechtsklick ins Suchfeld -> Diese Suchmaschine der Schnellsuchleiste hinzufügen. Ausserdem: Suchmaschinen löschen!

Nightly Tester Tools (http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/nightly) Das Searchengine Ordering geht ohne leider nicht mit dem FF 2.0

Und auch mit muss man folgendes beachten:

Rechtsklick ins Suchfeld -> Diese Suchmaschine der Schnellsuchleiste hinzufügen. NUN DEN FF SOFORT SCHLIEßEN. Mehr als das (und das löschen von Suchmaschinen) sollte man mit der Extension nicht machen. (FF interne Sortierfunktion nutzen usw...)
