Textausschnitt ins Deutsche

Ich weiß nicht so ganz, ob das Forum dazu da ist, um auf Englisch zu reden oder/und Probleme mit Englisch zu klären.

Ich frag trotzdem mal. Die MIT-Lizenz hab ich nur auf Englisch gefunden, ich bräuchte die nun auf Deutsch, kein Problem, übersetzt man halt selber.

Nun ist da aber folgender Satz drin enthalten, an dem ich ein wenig knabber:

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions:

Das in Fettschrift. Wie kann man das verstehen?

"... und Personen zu erlauben, zu welchen die Software eingerichtet ist, so zu tun..."

Klingt ein wenig gestelzt, wenn nicht gar falsch. Andere Ideen?

Das "to do so" bezieht sich auf "to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software"...das dürfen diese Personen tun.

Also das fettgedruckte wäre dann "...und Personen, welchen die Software bereitgestellt wird, zu erlauben, dies zu tun" ("dies" ist dann wie gesagt der Absatz oben).

D.h. die Person, die die Software erwirbt, darf "deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software", und Personen, denen diese Software eben zur Verfügung gestellt wird, dürfen das auch (unter den folgenden Bedingungen:).
