This is the kind of stuff I like doing. I do the slo-mo in Adobe premiere so I have more control (plus no messages echoing in the corner)..

I would like to add 3rd person, and various camera angle changes while making this kind of film. What do you think?????

You can do such stuff with console commands.
1.) Create a directory Q3A_DIR\recam
2.) Paste the below into a file Q3A_DIR\recam\recam1.cfg.
3.) Create a dir Q3A_Dir\recam\demos and copy a demo file mydemo.dm_66 in there

now execute: quake3.exe +set fs_game recam +demo mydemo +exec recam1.cfg

As you can see I enjoy this kind of thing.

There was a problem getting the game to exit because even after I quit out of the demo it was still looping the cfg and stuck in slo mo , I had to end task =(

first remove the last line which executes itself again.

Play around with it a bit, you must set back some settings like cg_draw2d or so..try it out i'm not sure now. You will find out yourself.

Thanks for your help. When I go the credits screen after selcting QUIT, It quits out if I tap the space bar real fast for a few seconds =)

Anyway after watching the "show" abit I have come to the conclusion that moving thirdpersonangle in incriments of ONE is the way to go. The movement of the camera is choppy other wise and can be annoying. Im gonna mess with that.

Also if I remove EXEC at the end it will only play once right?
Maybe you could bind the cfg to a key and hit it whenever you wanted...

I played around some time ago a bit with the choppyness issue and yes it helped a lot to increase the steps.
Also it helped a bit to reduce the screen refresh rate (set r_displayRefresh 75)

The last line is the command to execute the script itself, so you have a recursion. I think that is what blocks you from beeing able to quit Q3A. Sorry about it, I found this script after a long period and wasn't looking into it before pasting it here.

Yes, you may bind the script execution command to a key.
(remember to use only F and keypad keys)
