Moin!

Weihnachtfeiertag
Boxing Day (nur GB) ist der 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag
New Year's Eve ist Silvester (i. Schottland: Hogmanay)

Was heißt eigentlich MERRY (Christmas)?
merry (nicht marry!) = fröhlich, ausgelassen, lustig, vergnügt

Allgemeine Weihnachts u. Neujahrsgrüße:

* ... hope you have a very merry Christmas and happy New Year

Als interkulturell/weltanschaulich-neutrale Grussform - (Wir haben hier die freundliche, sehr professionelle Anregung der E-Mail von Christa E. aufgenommen: "in cases where the sender may not know the religious affiliation of the recipient of their card, it is important to offer generic good wishes. This is especially true for holiday cards sent to businesses." Also z.B.:)

* Happy Holidays!

* Season's Greetings!

* Celebrate the Season!

* Peace!

* Peace on Earth!

* Joy to the World!

Unter eine gedruckte Weihnachts- oder Neujahrskarte

* from Charles

* Yours, Jennifer (Deine/Ihre/Dein/Ihr)

* Love from Charles and Jennifer (Alles Liebe von...)

* With love from Charles and Jennifer (Alles Liebe von...)
