AMD, made in germany?

I know AMD has two big fabs in Dresden (30 & 36), but every Athlon I've ever seen always says it's made in Malaysia. Has anyone actually seen an Athlon that says "Made in Germany"?

He said that AMD produces CPUs in Dresden for a while now. But I've never seen one "Made in Germany" either.

hab selber leider auch noch keinen gesehen, der in DD hergestellt wurde. vielleicht kommen aber nur spezielle modelle(profimarkt) da her oder die nur die deckel kommen aus malaysia :D

It says "Assembled in Malaysia". However the CPU still comes from Dresden.

AMD got a packaging plant in Malaysia, (..) where the Core of the Processor is assembled in the Package, but the Core itself is manufactured in another AMD plant in Dresden (Germany)
