Hallo!

Ich habe ein Toshiba Notebook (Satellite) mit einem SD-Card Reader. Als OS läuft Win und Kubuntu Feisty Fawn (7.04) im Dual-Boot.

Die Ausgabe von lspci bringt mir folgenden Card-Reader zu Tage:

02:0b.0 CardBus bridge: Toshiba America Info Systems ToPIC100 PCI to Cardbus Bridge with ZV Support (rev 33)

Aber leider habe ich ihn bisher noch unter keiner Linux-Distri zum Laufen gebracht. Unter Windows kein Problem, Treiber gibts bei Toshiba etc.


Unter google habe ich auch schon einiges gelsen, auch dass Card-Reader in Notebooks zum Teil sehr stiefmuetterlich behandelt werden von den Distributionen.

Wer von Euch hat evtl. diesen Card Reader Typen oder weiss wie ich ihn aktiviert bekomme?

Normalerweise sind die CR standardmässig aktiviert.

Gib doch einfach mal eine Card in den Slot und sieh nach,
ob du ein sd** device unter /dev hast ( z.B.: sda1, sdb1, sdc2 usw. )

Hallo!

Unter /dev ist nix zu finden. Da liegt nur scd0, sda, sda1 - sda9.

Bei 5 Partitionen gehören die meisten davon also zur Festplatte.

Es poppt auch kein Fenster auf, wie bei CD etc. wenn ich eine Karte in den Reader stecke.

Karte ist auch formatiert und Dateien sind auch drauf.


Unter Edgy hat das Ding auch schon nicht funktioniert. Aber mit dem neuen Kernel in Feisty....


Unter Dapper und (davor) Suse weiss ich nicht mehr obs ging. Damals war es auch nicht wichtig. Aber mittlerweile habe ich einige SD-Karten die ich gerne benutzen würde.

Card einstecken und danach die asugabe von dmesg posten.

Ihr habt es nicht anders gewollt. Ich hätte Euch auch mit | grep was rausgeschnitten..... ;)
