hallo!
ich hab nen problem:
hab mir ne guenstige gf2 pro geholt, in mein amd winxp k6-2 500mhz 128mb ram (nur 2xAGP) eingebaut, komm aber in cs aztec z.B. nur auf 10-20 fps !! quake3 benchmarks fuer ne aehnliche konfiguration haben aber ueber 90 fps !!
overclocked ist sie nicht, aber da muesste doch auch so einiges mehr gehen...

die cs-detail einstellungen sind ok, dx8.1 und detonator 29.42 / 30.8 hab ich getestet. SP1 ist glaub ich nicht installiert.

Warum? soll ich den microsoft gf treiber anstatt detonator probieren ? liegts an 2xAGP ? bitte helft mir.. meine alte matrox war genauso gut/schlecht.

Counterstrike ist staaaark CPU-limitierend. Erwarte keine Wunder mit deiner CPU! (hatte auch mal nen K6-2)

Chipsatztreiber!!!!!!! Was für ein Board hast du? Und nimm mal einen älteren Treiber aus der 12.xx Reihe. besser für GeForce2 und ältere Systeme.

danke erstmal alle fuer die schnelle hilfe. hab mich registriert. bin der typ.

ok, 12er treiber hab ich grad auch woanders gelesen, werds mal probieren, danke. chipsatztreiber hol ich mir auch.

ka, was mit dem ddrawstatus ging, der d3d test mit dxdiag lief problemlos. vielleicht liegt das (agp?) am aktiven nvmax tweaking tool?

was das fuern board ist keine ahnug, um ehrlich zu sein ist das nicht mein rechner sondern der von nem mitbewohner..

ich dachte nur da ich benchmarks fuer ne aehnliche config gesehen hab die alle ueber 90fps waren (allerdings auf nem celeron 800) muesste hier auch noch mehr gehen. selbst mit nur 500..

ok, ich glaub ich schaff das alles bis morgen, ich schreib dann obs funktioniert hat, waer nett wenn ihr dann nochmal nachguckt..

ps: gibts eigentlich (habe selbst 98) ne bequeme moeglichkeit winxp treiber zu wechseln ohne diese beschissene auto-erkennugn ??

Hab dein Problem gefunden 128mb ram sind für XP einfach zu wenig.
