3DMark06 hängt sich auf

Ich wollte 3DMark06 einmal durchlaufen lassen, um zu sehen, wie sich die HD3870 im Vergleich zur 8800GTS in meinem System schlägt. Dummerweise hängt sich 3DMark06 beim Systemscan auf.
Ich habe:
E6400, 4 GB Ram, HD3870 (Cat 8.1), XP/SP2 --> nichts übertaktet
XP ist neuinstalliert.
Wo kann das Problem liegen?

Danke. Leider hat es nichts gebracht. Jetzt startet der Rechner komplett neu.:|
Ich habe den Müll jetzt runtergeschmissen und werde mich meiner Games erfreuen.

Bei mir hat der Hotfix geholfen.
Es gibt aber noch mehr Lösungsansätze vom Hersteller:
Q: 3DMark06 freezes during the startup splash-screen, what is wrong and how can I fix this?
A: This problem can most likely be corrected by installing this HotFix: http://www.futuremark.com/download/hotfix_oct07/. If the Oct07 HotFix does not correct the problem, you can work around this issue either by renaming the "Direcpll.dll" file (found in %WINDIR%system32FuturemarkMSC) to something else, or you can run the benchmark using the -nosysteminfo command line option. Das runterladen -> http://home.arcor.de/tom_ate/updated-direcpll-dll.zip
und instalieren (steht in der Readme) dann geht 3D Mark
