Das würde ich Screenshotsettings nennen, zwar spielbar..aber geht auch besser :)

Zum spielen lasse ich es mit 4xTMSAA/16xAF laufen (88gt, 3.2core2duo, 4gb ram) und das läuft wunderbar.

Die Crysis Shots sind ohne Zweifel mit das Beste, was es von diesem Game bisher zu sehen gab. trotzdem glaube ich ebenfalls, das diese irgendwo geklaut wurden (zumindest teilweise). Der obige Screen war z.B. bereits Monate vor Release seitens Crytec veröffentlicht worden, siehe hier:

Almost all of the pictures is taken via the editor yes, but its still Crysis :wink:

Am sorry, but most of these pictures is taken by other persons. So i dont know what settings they used. I suppose they used Veryhigh settings and i know that some of them are taken with a custom Time of day setting. I can also say that the level of Anti-aliasing is possible due to downsizing and will not normally look that good ^_^

Yes you are right that the picture is not taken by me, its taken by Crytek. However it is NOT the same picture as on gamereactor and that Crytek originally posted. Because my version is special made out of a very high quality and high resolution version of this picture that got lots of more details than the origian one. I also had to mess alot with the brightness, contrast, gamma and colors to make it look like the original pic on gamereactor.

Here you can compare the two pictures side by site. And you can see mine has ALOT better quality;

usually screens in this thread are made by the poster, Photoshop is also a no go ;)
screens should be unmodified except of resizing from higher resolutions

in deed, your screens are awesome, but it's not the purpose of this thread to create the best wallpapers, but to show what's possible ingame and playable (with apropiate hardware)

I also balance the brightness, contrast and colors and thats pretty much it. The pictures ARE ingame, just a tiny bit edited and downsized. In fact, if i rise resolution to 1920x1200 and force Supersample transparency AA i get about the same picture quality as in my pictures. I also have highlight zone in my monitor witch allows me to increase the sharpness image while gaming witch is really nice. So nothing is really fake about my pictures. Its also true that the morepart of the pictures aint taken by me, but by friends of mine and others aswell. Like i stated in my first post here; This is my "collection" i collect and polish up the best crysis shots.

Hope u guys dont take it too hard that i used photoshop to give them the little extra touch. Hope you enjoy them anyway. Sorry for overreacting :redface:

Die Schönheit dieses Titels erschließt sich vielen vielleicht nicht auf den ersten Blick. Für mich ist es aber eines der besten, stimmigsten und auch (auf seine Art) schönsten PC-Spiele. Soll anon doch wirklich mal selbst(geschossene) Screenshots in dieser "Qualität" hervorbringen, dann zieh ich meinen Hut, aber so war diese Aktion und auch die anfängliche Userreaktion darauf mehr als lächerlich. Einen interessanten Aspekt, den Du da ansprichst. Ich für meinen Teil habe es nie als Sport angesehen. Ich bin mir aber ziemlich sicher, dass viele hier einen verbissenen Konkurrenzkampf abziehen. Ich kenne hier eine menge Leute, denen habe ich was das Snapen angeht in den Sattel geholfen - dafür brauche ich nur unzählige PN`s von mir betrachten. Dass ebend ua. diese Leute später einmal meine grössten Kritiker werden - Leute als Arschkriecher ect.pp bezeichnen, die zb. Bilder von mir loben, hat mir persönlich so einiges aufgezeigt. Oft hat man den Eindruck, dass eine menge Leute lieber gegeneinander agieren, statt dieses sehr interessante Hobby miteinander zu geniessen. Schade eigentlich....

You're pathetic, you think that i flame, whine and maon? Thats exactly what you are doing. My ≈40 pictures are all taken at a very high resolution and dowsized just like Rebels pics exept for a few, only that i make them bigger so they fit good on resolutions like 1600x1200 and 1680x1050 and also can be used as wallpapers. And if you have a 24" then a 1280x960 screen will look pretty small and wont fit as wallpaper, there will be lots of space over.

In der ini habe ich noch Wasserreflektionen etc. eingeschaltet, die Texturmods dürften aufs Wasser ja keinen Einfluss haben.
Bild 2 ist einfach nur gut getroffen, aus anderen Blickwinkeln oder aus der Nähe siehts nicht immer so gut aus.

Ich fand die Grafik auch ohne Mods schon gut. Vorallem wenn man bedenkt, dass es ein RPG mit größeren Maps ist.

Jay, du wiederholst dich.
Du vermagst die Atmosphäre eine Armed Assault perfekt einzufangen, bei Crysis gelingt dir das allerdings nicht so gut. Ich weiß, du legst mehr wert auf Motive und Stilistik als auf Grafik.

Aber schaue dir doch mal Shots, die ich gerade gequotet habe: Die sehen fast identisch aus. Nicht, dass diese Shots jetzt irgendwie unschön wären, nein, das nicht.

Aber sie wirken sehr ähnlich, ein schönes Alienschiff im Vordergrund und der Rest verschwimmt dabei sehr. Crysis macht meiner Meinung nach die Tatsache aus, dass man selbst in den kleinsten Ecken und hintersten Winkeln noch wunderschöne Details findet. Die gehen bei dir oft etwas unter.


Das soll jetzt nur der Versuch einer kontruktiven Kritk sein :)

ich brauch nichts festes... im gegenteil sogar ich spiele nicht gerne dj... wenn ich spielen will will ich spielen und nicht erst die cd raussuchen ;)
steam ist perfekt... und wenn valve echt mal pleite geht gibts haltn offiziellen "crack" ... und zur not kann man sich das zeug gar brennen. steam ftw ^^

Sins of a Solar Empire sagt mir optisch irgendwie nicht so richtig zu. schaut aus wie homeworld bloß in quietschbunt.
auch haegemonia hatte da optisch und designmäßig bei den schiffen mehr zu bieten. imho natürlich. ;)

Ja, das Programm ist Freeware. Orbiter ist dabei ein Raumflugsimulator, der auf der Newtonschen Physik aufbaut. Also keine StarWars Physik.
Hier bekommst du das Hauptprogramm (http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/), welches dann noch erweitert werden kann. Wenn man Sound möchte, sollte man Orbitersound 3.5 (http://orbiter.dansteph.com/index.php?disp=d) installieren.
Das vorhin gezeigte AMSO (http://www.acsoft.ch/AMSO/amso.html) Addon wird benötigt, um die verschiedenen Apollo Missionen nachfliegen zu können. Für AMSO wird eventuell noch IMFD 5.1 (http://koti.mbnet.fi/jarmonik/Orbiter.html) benötigt.

Es gibt für Orbiter verschiedene Addons, etwa Landung einer Sonde auf dem Mars etc. Ein guter Anlaufpunkt für Addons ist das OrbiterForum (http://orbit.m6.net/Forum/default.aspx) oder der Orbithangar (http://www.orbithangar.com/index.php). Hoffe das diese Informationen erstmal ausreichen.

PS: Die Grafikengine unterstützt nur eine Lichtquelle, die Sonne. Bei allen anderen Lichteffekten muss getrickst werden.

Definitiv geiles Game, hammer Grafik. Der Genre ist aber leider nicht mein Ding. Habe es vor einiger Zeit nur kurz angespielt.

Du hast deine Frage schon fast selbst beantwortet. ;)
Diese Buttons stellen kleine Missionen dar, z.B. Flüge mit dem Rettungshubschrauber, Polizeiverfolgungsjagden etc.
So kann man schon früher ein paar Gebäude freispielen für die man eigentlich eine bestimmte Anzahl an Einwohnern braucht.

RushHour bietet aber viel wertvollere Funktionen und Neuerungen.

Weiter gehts mit der letzten Apollo Mission (Apollo 17):

Kurz nach erreichen eines stabilen Erdorbits wurde die dritte Stufe der Saturn V ein zweites mal gezündet, um das Raumschiff auf eine Flugbahn in Richtung Mond zu befördern.
In Anschluss an diese Zündung trennt sich das Command Service Modul (CSM) von der dritten Stufe.

Der nächste Schritt besteht darin, die Mondlandefähre (LEM) aus der dritten Stufe zu bergen.

die bilder sind mit DX10 aufgenommen, darunter fallen gewisse effekte wie die "ultra detail terrain".
zumal ich die HDR effekte aus hatte, wäre dann wohl overkill gewesen.

wärend einer richtigen schlacht habe ich keine zeit für ein fotoshooting ;)

Nein, aber ich würde es brauchen, wenn die DX10 sein sollen, wie wenige Beiträge zuvor vermutet. Sind aber wie gesagt 9er. Kann ja mal jemand Vergleichsbilder unter DX10 machen, würde mich auch interessieren, wie das rüberkommt. Kenne da bislang nur wenige Vergleichsbilder und da sehe ich bis auf anderen Schatteneinfall, Ausleuchtung etc. nicht so große Unterschiede.

Man darf nicht vergessen, man macht screenshots unter nicht immer auch spielbaren Voreinstellungen. Also im Spiel alles hochgedreht + höchste Stufe AA und AF. Zudem gewinnen die Bilder natürlich an Tiefe (im doppelten Sinn), sobald man auch die Kamera kippt und mit diversen Winkel- und Zoomstufen spielt. Deswegen sehen solche Momentaufnahmen vllt immer etwas Oooooh aus. ;)

Also irgendwie reden wir aneinander vorbei. Das sind 6 Bilder von mir, die ich Mitte Januar mal gemacht hatte. Keine offiziellen Screenshots von Relic, kein DX10 verwendet. Nix von speziellem Bumpmapping auf einer bestimmten map, alles normal über die Spieleinstellungen.

Danke - finde sehr interessant, dass die (Relic) sich für den Porscheturm entschieden haben.
Im Vergleich zu World in Conflict kommt einem Company of Heroes bei genauerem hinsehen "etwas detailärmer" vor.

die kommen bei weitem nicht an diese Spieltiefe ran....

allerdings sollte man sich als Neuling erstmal drauf einstellen online oft auf den Sack zu bekommen :D und auf eine lange Lernkurve da es soviel zu entdecken gibt und sich das balancing ständig etwas ändert....

Von Herr der Ringe Online/LOTRO kann gerne noch mehr kommen. Das Spiel ist einfach wunderhübsch, hat mäßige Hardwareanforderungen (eine Geforce 7900 GT oder X1950 Pro reicht für 1280x1024 mit 4xAA und 16:1 AF, die CPU sollte aber auch dazu passen, spricht Core 2 Duo oder schneller A64 X2), die Vegetation flimmert nicht dank Alphablending und der Suchtfaktor ist enorm. Herr-der-Ringe-Fans - vor allem die der Buchvorlage - sollten sich das Spiel nicht entgehen lassen.

Die "Dream Experimental" - Map ist bei mir leider teilweise unspielbar, die Fps sacken ins Bodenlose... Ich vermute mal es liegt an den regennassen Oberflächen, weil sobald die nicht mehr da sind läuft es ok... :confused: Aber sehr schön gemachte Map! :smile:

Die Bilder von Treasure Island sind leider horizontal gestaucht. Hast du da selber Hand angelegt oder unterstützt das Spiel kein Widescreen?
Die Auflösung war 1280x1024. Ich habe nur die schwarzen Ränder, die für Dialog und Inventar sind, abgeschnitten. Das Bild ist aber tatsächlich verzogen, ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen. Das Spiel bietet nur 800x600, 1024x768 und 1280x1024 an. Ich frage mich ob manchen Spieleentwicklern eigentlich noch nicht aufgefallen ist das 1280x1024 nicht 4:3 ist. Das beste ist aber das die Hintergrundgrafiken der Menüs in 5:4 sind.:D
