In der Closed Beta war die Grafik und vorallem bei den Modellen noch schlechter als beim Release.
Das Grafikupdate für die Städte/Dörfer kam mit dem Addon Darkness Rising, dass nun aber schon paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat.

Darin, dass das Spiel an sich zwar sieben Jahre alt ist, aber die implizierte Aussage "so gut sah dass schon vor sieben Jahren aus" aufgrund der zwischenzeitlichen grafischen Generalüberholung eben nicht zutrifft.

Die Ähnlichkeit zu Morrowind ist übrigens wohl nicht nur Zufall - selbe Engine (Gamebryo).

die Angaben zu Auflösungen usw. kann man eigentlich weg lassen, wen interessiert das überhaupt ?
Hauptsache die Sreens sind aus dem Spiel ohne Photoshop Nachbearbeitung^^

Selten, dass sich jemand bei (fast) allen beteiligten bedankt. Danke.

Erinnerst du dich noch an die Beta mit den vielen lustigen Bugs oder die Kommandeure in den alten Frontiers, die mit 500-700% Speed durch die Gegend gerast sind und damals auch noch ganze Gruppen geplättet haben? Das Event mit den Dosen und den Midis beim ersten Keepraid war auch ganz lustig...knapp 1 Stunde sind dafür draufgegangen. Der erste Reliktraid war aber mit Abstand das beste.... dass waren Epische Schlachten (ruckel ruckel und null Übersicht).
Von dem allem hätte ich auch noch paar Bilder, wenn nicht diese #?&() *piep* Deskstar IBM Schrottdinger abgeraucht wären.

Ich weiss doch wie Du es gemeint hast und es kam hier drüben auch super nett an. =) Und ich denke auch mal, das [SdF]Lord es nicht böse gemeint hat. Das Problem an SupaDupa-Kritiken ist immer, dass sie ein Schlag ins Gesicht für andere User sind, die genauso gute - wenn nicht noch bessere Bilder machen. So etwas schürt einfach nur ein ungesundes Konkurrenzdenken, was von mir absolut nicht gewollt ist.

Ich weiss doch wie Du es gemeint hast und es kam hier drüben auch super nett an. =) Und ich denke auch mal, das [SdF]Lord es nicht böse gemeint hat. Das Problem an SupaDupa-Kritiken ist immer, dass sie ein Schlag ins Gesicht für andere User sind, die genauso gute - wenn nicht noch bessere Bilder machen. So etwas schürt einfach nur ein ungesundes Konkurrenzdenken, was von mir absolut nicht gewollt ist.

Btw. gibt es eigentlich eine Erklärung dazu, warum Zwerge nur diese kleinen Vollbärte haben und keine richtig schön langen, wallenden? Immerhin an den Bildern zu sehen ist ja, das lange Bärte scheinbar kein Problem darstellen, ich meine schau dir den Zwerg an und darunter im Bild den Magier(?) - wie geil würde wohl der Zwerg mit einem solchen Bart aussehen (ein bisschen buschiger, voller)...

Technisch ist Drakensang jetzt ganz sicher nicht herausragend, aber es hat doch so einige schöne Stellen und sehr lobenswerterweise auch viele kleine Details, die es atmosphärisch wirken lassen.

Also ernsthaft, das mit den Zwergenbärten frisst mich echt an, gut der Magierbart vom letzten Post von mir hier, war vielleicht etwas übertrieben, aber diese Bartkonstrukte sind doch nun wirklich absoluter Zwergenstil - warum zur Hölle sehen die Zwerge wie 14 Tage nicht rasiert aus, anstatt ordentlich was ins Gesicht zu bekommen, geht doch allen Anschein nach *grummel* *wirklich stinkig bin, das es keinen Selbstbaucharaktergenerator gibt*.

Genau darum geht es doch, Du hast hier schon Zwergenbilder gepostet und ich habe bei pcgames die Klassenbilder gesehen, wo alle Charaktermodelle der Zwerge gezeigt wurden - die Zwergenbärte sehen alle, mit verlaub, Scheiße aus und nun kann man auf den zwei gequoteten sehen, es ginge durchaus anders, aber nööö, das frisst mich echt an.

Genau darum geht es doch, Du hast hier schon Zwergenbilder gepostet und ich habe bei pcgames die Klassenbilder gesehen, wo alle Charaktermodelle der Zwerge gezeigt wurden - die Zwergenbärte sehen alle, mit verlaub, Scheiße aus und nun kann man auf den zwei gequoteten sehen, es ginge durchaus anders, aber nööö, das frisst mich echt an.

Bei den Charakterklassen habe ich nicht geguckt.
AFAIR habe ich auch noch nie einen Zwerg als Hauptcharakter in einem RPG gespielt. :wink:

Vor allem der Bart des ersten ist ein echter Witz und die beiden anderen haben die gleichen Bärte, wirklich lang, kunstvoll bzw. würdevoll sind die nicht...ich kenne das bisher aus jedem Setting mit Zwergen so, das Man(n) als Zwerg sehr auf seinen Bart achtet, heißt Länge, Buschigkeit und Ausschmückuung - die Bärte der spielbaren Zwergencharaker sind einfach nur öde bis bäh.


P.S. Ich spiele am liebsten einen Zwerg, sind im Fantasybereich meine Lieblingsrasse - so ein flauschiger, hackfleischproduzierender Wüterich, mit Hang zu Tiefschlägen hat was ;).

Hier habe ich noch paar 1440x900 4xMSAA/16xAF Screens mit der G80GTS. 1680x1050 war schon ziemlich grenzwertig für diese Karte. Mit der G260GTX läufts wieder butterweich. Wobei das neue Flatout extrem cpu-limitiert ist.

Die Steuerung per Tastatur ist zum Glück perfekt umgesetzt (das wichtigste überhaupt). Ich hoffe nur, mal liefert einen Lan-Modus mit nem Patch nach. Dann wäre es perfekt. =)

Teil 2 habe ich bis zur Vergasung gezockt, derlei Missverhältnis aus Fahrzeug- und Umgebungsgröße ist mir da nie aufgefallen. Ich meine der Wagen ist nicht mal halb so hoch wie die Tür, auf der Couch im Hintergrund kann man bequem das Auto parken, um an die Telefonzelle zu kommen, müsste ich mich aufs Autodach stellen.

Ist das nur in diesem Level so oder fällt es allgemein auf, das da was nicht stimmt ?

Hab X³ leider nicht mehr installiert, von daher nur diese Überbleibsel, leider auch mit Hud.

die vier Pixel im roten Kreis sollen meinen Astronauten darstellen und ich bin immer noch einige hundert Meter vom Terranerschiff entfernt :smile: Nur um mal die Größenverhältnisse klarzustellen.

(Das war eine der eindrucksvollsten Erlebnisse mit dem Xtended Mod ... habe doch tatsächlich einmal ein Sonnenkraftwerk mit dem Asgard übersehen, weil das im Vergleich so klein war, normalerweise braucht man mit anderen Schiffen schon einige Zeit bis man die riesigen, unübersehbaren Sonnensegel überquert hat.
