Wem manch geposteter Screenshot wegen eines kleineren Monitors zu groß erscheint, kann übrigens leicht abgeholfen werden: Man kann den Browser so konigurieren, dass die Bilder beim Surfen automatisch auf passende Anzeigegröße verkleinert werden. beim ersten dachte ich, das ist ein low detail bild von einem crysis mod. X-D


ob ich mir mirror's edge reintu weiß ich noch nicht. zum einen freu ich mich sehr, dass ein spiel endlich mal wieder die farbpalette für sich entdeckt. andererseits wirkt die umgebung extrem steril.

Puhh, ich weis gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll, das ganze Spiel ist eine Augenweide. Nicht weil die Geometrien so aufwändig sind, sondern weil es etwas Neues vom optischen Stil her ist. Es hebt sich wohltuend von dem gewohnten grau-braun ab.....

Glückwunsch, du hast das Spiel schon fast durch :-(
Ich nehme an PhysX ist aktiviert?

Ja, PhysX ist an (nachdem ich Vista neu aufgesetzt habe funktioniert's auch). Vorher hatte ich unerklärliche Slowdowns bei PhysX-Einsatz (klar wenn's irgendwie auf der CPU gerechnet wird), allerdings kam der Rechner aus dieser Slideshow nicht mehr heraus. Nur ein Beenden des Spiels half. Dies könnte aber auch an dem Keks liegen den ich benutze, da ich mich EA's DRM-Politik sicherlich nicht unterwerfe. Das Spiel ist natürlich ordnungsgemäß gekauft, nicht raubkopiert.

Das letzte Bild ist doch auf dem Schiff? Da hänge ich gerade fest :-(
Ansonsten finde ich das Spiel einfach genial. Vor allem kommt man auch mal ohne Ballerei aus und es macht trotzdem viel Spass. Grafisch ist es auch eine Augenweite , viele Szenen wirken einfach unglaublich realistisch.

Die Motive sind schön gewählt, aber das kann leider auch nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass das Spiel sehr übel aussieht. Fast schon peinlich.

Wie NEU bzw. vielleicht gar schon wieder alt ist dieses "Test Drive Unlimited" denn nun, und mit welchen Games vergleichbar: ---> Speed Busters oder doch ein Burnout Paradise in etwa?

TDU ist 2007 rausgekommen und imho nicht so recht mit anderen Spielen vergleichbar: Du hast eine riesige, frei befahrbare Welt, viele Autos zu kaufen und kannst jederzeit mit wem anders rumcruisen/ Rennen fahren, etc.
Das Fahrverhalten ist dabei eher Arcade (aber längst nicht so schlimm wie NFS), es gibt aber auch eine Art Sim-Mode.

Von einem alten Savegame kann hier nicht die rede sein. Ich hatte formatiert und hatte keine Savegames. Crysis installiert, der Reihe nach gepatcht bis eben 1.21 und dann gestartet. Und schon hatten die Fahrzeuge keine Hinterreifen...

Zwar gibt es schönere Motive von Crysis, gerade was die Farben an geht, aber wie der Typ mit einem Bein auf dem Ast steht :eek:

Gerade das empfinde ich als eine Herausforderung. Denn vor den Kurven oder einem Hügel muss man dann halt abbremsen. Würde man jede Kurve fast mit Vollgas nehmen können wäre es wieder nichts anderes als ein arcadiges NfS. :cool:

Wieviel Fps hast du denn mit den Settings?

Bei 1680x800 32xS+TSSAA/16xAF? Da sind es so zwischen 8 und 17fps. Sind natürlich keine Spielsettings, sondern nur für Screenshots vorgesehen um das letzte Shader-Aliasing zu beseitigen. 32xS und auch TSSAA hauen da natürlich derbe rein. Außerdem geht der Vram bei diesen Settings schon aus. Deswegen die tiefen Frames. Spielen tue ich mit 1680x800 16xCSAA+TMSAA/16xAF und 60-90fps. Bei vielen Gegnern geht die Framerate auch mal in Richtung 45fps Minimum. Liegt aber an der CPU. TDU nutzt anscheinend leider nur 2 Cores aus.

Gerade eben habe ich aber festgestellt, dass selbst 1680x800 8xS+TMSAA/16xAF mit 60fps läuft. Theoretisch kann ich auch 1680x800 8xSQ+TMSAA/16xAF mit min. 45fps nutzen. Leider wird mit einem SSAA-Anteil das Bild leicht verblurrt. Mit einem 1x2SSAA-Anteil finde ich es aber noch im Rahmen. Übrigens, im Spiel selbst reicht selbst schon 8xSAA für ein glattes Bild aus. Da flimmert nichts mehr. :)

Bei den Felgen zb. bringt TMSAA praktisch gar nichts. Da hilft nur TSSAA und am besten statt 1x2SSAA (in 8xSAA inbegriffen) 2x2SSAA (in 8xSQAA, 16xSAA oder 32xSAA vorhanden). Damit werden die dann auch fast so glatt wie ein Babypopo. :D

PS: aus Performance/Optik-Sicht ist TDU imo erste Sahne. :up:

Eigentlich ist beides aktiv - es kann natürlich sein, dass der Effekt wegen der Ironsight auf den Bildern nicht so stark zur Geltung kommt. Stilistisch hat Monolith den "Film Grain Effekt" - wie schon VALVe in L4D - imho eigentlich ganz gut abgemischt. Besonders in den dunklen Passagen, wie zb. auf dem Pic mit dem Rollstuhl, hat das InGame heute Nacht hier in bewegten Bildern für ein super Flair gesorgt. Klasse Shooter, imho!

Ich weiß nicht. Auf den letzten Bildern fehlt schon wieder irgendwas an Details... z.B. das Gras links neben den Schienen hat null Schattierung. Nicht nur keinen Schattenwurf, was ja noch verständlich wäre, die Helligkeit ist konstant... das wirkt sehr seltsam im Kontrast mit den restlichen, typisch hochwertigen Details.


Abseits dessen sau öde Motive ;) Die anderen Shots mit dem Panzer sind allerdings geil.

Die beiden letzten Bilder finde ich unstimmig. Da ist irgendwas mit dem Licht nicht in Ordnung. Der Beleuchtungsgrad schwankt zwischen diesigem Sommerwetter mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und einem normalen, sonnigen Tag mit blauem Himmel und entsprechender Beleuchtung.

Vielleicht liegt es auch an anderen Dingen, aber wie gesagt. Unstimmig.

Ah okay, dachte ich es mir doch... Custom Content. Das erklärt es natürlich, ist ja bei jedem Spiel so. Die neuen Bilder sind hingegen wieder toll. Viel besseres Licht :)

Die Schatten sind zu übertrieben, in Wirklichkeit ruft ein kleiner Schmetterling nicht so eine starke Kontraßtveränderung hervor. Das wirkt so etwas surrealistisch.

mann o mann, also spiele wie mirrors edge oder crysis produzieren stellenweise wirklich bilder, die glatt aus einem 3d renderprogramm stammen könnten. ich bin schon gespannt auf die nachfolger dieser spiele.

Ich finde deine letzten FEAR2 Shots einfach nur geschmacklos, insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass hier vielleicht auch "kleine" Kinder im Thread unterwegs sind. Ich weiß nicht, was an einem abgetrennten Kopf, der in die Kamera gehalten wird schön sein soll.
Außerdem würde mich interessieren, wie die rechtliche Lage bei Screenshots von eindeutig indizierten/ab 18 Versionen ist.

AF greift sehr wohl. Aber nur gaaanz hinten und nur an einigen wenigen Stellen. Im direkten Vergleich sichtbar. Finde aber auch, das POM die Optik eher senkt - schließlich starre ich [auch im echten Leben] nicht nur auf die 3m Wiese direkt vor mir. Wobei Crytek dieses Spielchen mit Warhead weiter getrieben haben: Mehr Details in der direkten Nähe, dafür mieseres LOD.

Sieht echt super aus. Was ich nur traurig finde ist, das dieses Spiel mich nie fesseln konnte. Die Synchros und die ganzen Chars die mit einem in komischen Dialogen Sprechen usw. war alles echt mies. :redface:

Läuft imho schon seit mehreren Patches problemlos und gut, ich habe es schon einige Patches vor dem aktuellen ohne Probleme durchgespielt. Ist zwar irgendwie nicht ganz so genial wie das Ur-Stalker, aber dennoch ein Muss für jeden, der das Ur-Stalker mochte; ganz davon ab, dass das Spiel wirklich zum Sterben schöne Momente auf den Bildschirm zaubert, wie die 1a Screenies von Stahlmax das zeigen.

OT: Eine Woche Urlaub...und den günstigsten Afrika-Urlaub gebucht, den es gibt:
mal wieder FC2, 1680x1050, Details ~Very High, 2xTSAA/16xAF...ist echt das erste Spiel, was ich sowohl grafisch als auch spielerisch beim zweiten Durchspielen noch besser als beim ersten Mal finde...

Aber warum noch mehr rausholen? Die meissten Gamer kriegen nicht mal den Maincontent flüssig zum laufen. Ich finde die CE2 technisch sehr beeindruckend. Das Hauptproblem bleibt allerdings, dass der Designcontent zu 75% recht monoton bleibt. Kennt man einen Crysis-Shot - kennt man fast alle.

Ja, GTA IV läßt leider keine genaue Angabe der Aspect Ratio zu. Der Sichtbereich ändert sich den drei hier gezeigten Auflösungen ebenfalls nicht.:mad: 4800x1050 und 5400x1125 kommt da am ehesten hin.

Ich werde die Bilder mal anpassen... So, gesagt getan (DAR 4,8 - 3x 16:10).

Ich hab das Spiel grade mal spaßhalber gestartet, und war geschockt sie sehr die Grafik mittlerweile gelitten hat. :eek: Irgendwie hatte ich Far Cry viel schöner in Erinnerung. ;(

Ein bisschen vielleicht. Mittlerweile ist Farcry fast 5 Jahre alt und es hat laaang gedauert, bis dieses Grafikniveau von anderen Spielen erreicht wurde. Bei Crysis wirds ähnlich sein. Hat auch bald 1,5 Jahre am Buckel und nix gibts, was Crysis das Wasser reichen könnte.

Widescreenauflösungen live im Spiel dann sehr gestaucht aus. Sind sie aber im richtigen Seitenverhältnis dann wirkt es fast so als

HyperSnap (http://de.hyperionics.com/hs/) heißt das Zauberwort. Komischerweise macht die Drucktaste bei mir keine schwarzen Bilder sondern funktioniert einwandfrei, nur ist der TabSwitch immer umständlich. Fraps macht übrigens dieselben Probleme wie bei dir.

Geile Shots. Aber hier fällt (leider) wieder auf - Crysis sparte leider teils an den Texturen, so wie viele andere Spiele auch. Ich wünsche mir Spiele, die ab Release mit Texturen rauskommen wie sie etwa ein Oblivion samt Qarls Pack 3 bietet.

Nee, die sind alle so.

Kann natürlich sein, dass es bei 1280x1024 mehr rein haut als bei 1600x1200, das weiß ich nicht. Aber sind allesamt mit 8xS Kombo AA entstanden und haben daher ihre natürliche Unschärfe.

4xMS sieht halt scheiße aus und Supersampling an sich greift nicht immer. Ich kann es aber noch mal ausprobieren.

Supersampling greift immer, und bei gewissen Spielen ist SSAA auch für geblurre verantwortlich.

HW2 nutzt doch eh kaum/keine Shader, oder? Dann könnte man sich den SSAA-Anteil ganz sparen...

Ich hatte es ja eine Zeit lang ausprobiert, genau wegen des Blurs. Und irgendwann ging es dann einfach nicht mehr. Oder es ging ständig aus, was auch gerne vorkommt bei meiner Grafikkarte.

@GTA4: Schöne Motive, aber das Spiel sieht in meinen Augen einfach widerlich aus. Die Schatten sind einfach eine Katastrophe, und die fehlende Kantenglättung schneidet sehr unangenehm in die Augen. :(

@Lightning: Was ist das für ein Spiel? Aus dem Emulator oder wie? Der Stil erinnert mich an Final Fantasy X.
