Hör dir auch unbedingt "Und Pan spielt die Flöte" an, ist auf youtube ein Zweiteiler wegen der Länge^^ Absolut genial gemacht, wie am Ende der Anfangsriff mit einer anderen Melodie "gegeneinander" spielt. Echt schade, dass sich die Band mangels Akzeptanz aufgelöst hat. Gibt zwar schon das Nachfolgeprojekt Dinner auf Uranos (http://www.myspace.com/dinneraufuranos), aber dort spielen sie ziemlich psychedelischen ProgRock - nicht soooo mein Metier. :wink:

Insomnium gefällt mir auch sehr und find ich irgendwo erstaunlich melancholisch und komplex für MeloDeath (verglichen mit Dark Tranquillity, Bodom oder Arch Enemy :wink:), speziell Songs wie Daughter Of The Moon oder In The Groves Of Death machen gut Stimmung. :)
PS: Hör dir mal das Solo ab 2:52 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goKE5Qx3R-g&fmt=18) an, die sehr "lebhafte" Lead-Guitar ist die große Stärke dieses Genres imo. ^^

Insomnium gefällt mir auch sehr und find ich irgendwo erstaunlich melancholisch und komplex für MeloDeath (verglichen mit Dark Tranquillity, Bodom oder Arch Enemy :wink:), speziell Songs wie Daughter Of The Moon oder In The Groves Of Death machen gut Stimmung. :)Stimmt, die Stimmung von Insomnium divergiert sehr stark von der anderer Melodic Death Metal Bands. Ich bin ohnehin der Meinung, dass das Genre vielschichtiger aufgebaut ist als zb. die Power Metal Sparte. Da hat jede Band irgendwie nen eigenen Stil und eigene Themen. Ist aber vielleicht auch nur Einbildung. :D

In letzter Zeit hab ich mich mehr mit Folk und Pagan Metal angefreundet, da ist Sonata Arctica etwas kürzer getreten.
