Ich meine gut, um viel Geld zu verdienen braucht man nicht unbedingt studieren. Aber das hier ist schon ziemlich treffend formuliert. ;)

Wipeout HD (Fury Addon) - PS3, 1920x1080 (kein AA)

Ich hab beim Spielen von Wipeout HD Fury auch maln paar Shots gemacht, aber hautpsächloch von den abstrakteren Spielmodi. Die wirken in Bewegung natürlich noch ne ganze Ecke besser, da die komplette Strecke ja mit der Musik interagiert und sich permanent die Farben wechseln. Wipoeut HD in statischen Bildern einzufangen ist leider kaum möglich, in Bewegung sieht das nämlich so genial aus. Evtl. sollte Sony nen Photomodus ins OS einbaun, dann kann man von jedem Game Schnappschüsse machen.

Es gibt genug detaillierte Level. Das Problem ist, dass bei Egoshootern massig Umgebungsdetails häufig das Zielen und die Reaktion erschweren. Dennoch kannst du dich gerne mal hier durchklicken:

Rein vom Design her ist imo die UT Reihe ganz weit oben anzusiedeln. Denn surrealisitischere Maps findet man imo nirgends. Wem das nicht gefällt, soll halt Arma oder Crysis spielen.


EDIT: Mal abgesehen davon, dass das Spiel einen solchen eingängigen Editor mitbringt, dass schon hunderte Maps für UT3 existieren. Dass das Ganze dann auch auf schwächeren Rechner toll aussieht und super performt, ist das Sahnehäubchen. Oder spielt hier irgendjemand Arma2 oder Crysis mit 60fps?

Ps: In punkto Designkunst stimme ich Mr. Lolman zu. Sowas abgedrehtes findet man nur äusserst selten. Imho gibt es in der Spieleindustrie auch nicht so ganz viele Leute, die ein solches kreatives Design auf die Kette bekommen. Das ist schon eine andere Liga, als ein paar virtuelle Palmen zu verpflanzen. Warum sollte man mit Max. Bots spielen, wenn das Mapdesign und das Gameplay nur für eine bestimmte Anzahl an Spieler (Bots) ausgelegt ist? Wem bringt es etwas, eine Karte die zb. für 16 Leute ausgelegt ist mit 32 Bots zu spielen? Wer würde sich ein Deck mit 30+ Bots geben? Theoretisch machbar - und ggf. für Benchmarker interessant. Aber für einen Spieler?

Patches? Treiber? Und vor allem sind per Haus aus keine High Poly Charaktere aktiv ;) (nur per Ini aktivierbar) Das was am meissten gefressen hat. Sprich, ich habe mir damals selber die Handbremse angezogen.

P.S Damals hatte ich auch nur ein 3,0 GHZ E6600. Jetzt ein E8400 3,6GHZ.

Hach ein paar "The Ball" bilder :), die Details sind wirklich auf einem erstaunlichen Level heutzutage für Mods/Custom Maps.

Aber darf ich mal sagen, das mir dieser verdammte Shaderglanz auf allen möglichen und unmöglichen Oberflächen langsam aber sicher derb auf den Sack geht - damit meine ich vor allem die Gesteinsstrukturen (alle entweder dauerfeucht, oder Speckstein; nur sieht das 1. nicht wie Speckstein aus und 2., wen es dauerfeucht wäre müsste es verstärkte Auswaschungen, Rinnen und Stalaktiten/Stalagmiten geben).

Es gibt durchaus Parameter, innerhalb derer "Geschmack" eine Relevanz hat.

Aber ich habe ja extra objektive Kriterien genannt, die gegen eine "Schönheit" in den den Screenshots von Batman sprechen. Es tut mir leid, aber Batman ist nicht nur subjektiv, sondern auch tatsächlich häßlich.

ArmA 2 trifft meinen Geschmack beispielsweise auch nicht, aber ich kann dennoch anerkennen, dass es objektiv fantastisch aussieht.

Das sehe ich anders, im Gegenteil würd ich behaupten, dass Du es tatsächlich subjektiv hässlich findest.

Aber mal anders rum:
Was erwartest Du bei so nem Spiel bzw. Du weisst, wo es angesiedelt ist? Arkham?
Da erwartest Du eine farbenfrohe Freizeiteinrichtung mit viel Tageslicht und Neonbestrahlung in allen Ecken?
Naja...

Ich werde immer neidisch wenn ich deine ArmA 2 Bilder sehe... bei mir läuft das Game einfach nicht so wie ich´s gerne hätte, kannst mir ja mal deine Hardware und Einstellungen sagen btw. mir ein paar Tipps per PM mitteilen wenn du lust hast.

Die Batman Screens gefallen mir auch recht gut ! Als ich die Vorschau in den bekannten PC-Mags gelesen hatte, dachter ich das game wäre nicht so der Burner... aber wie es ausschaut ist es doch recht gut.
Auf Wertungen in Zeitschriften geb ich eh nix mehr, bzw. kaum was.
