Also included are single texture and ROP units capable of handling four texels and pixels per clock, respectively. If you think of the new Radeon HD 3800 series as a V8, the 3200 is essentially a single piston—one that runs at an impressive 500MHz and has access to up to 512MB of system memory.

Na toll, dann hätte man sich das ja schenken können.Naja, etwas neuer ist er schon: UVD 2 kann der 785G beispielsweise und voll DirectX 10.1-Unterstüzung.

The primary difference between the cores is that the HD4200 fully supports DX10.1, Unified Video Decoder 2.0 (UVD), hardware accelerated picture in picture capabilities, dynamic contrast, HQ video scaling, hardware accelerated video transcoding, and full Powerplay support.

Es ist wohl sehr viel wahrscheinlicher nur ein Shader-SIMD mit 8xVec5 und dazu eine Quad-TMU.
