Sehr feine Musik. Folk Metal trifft es mMn nicht vollständig.
Eher "abgespaceter atmosphärischer progressive Folk Black Metal mit ...blasülz..." :freak:
Ich kann es nicht wirklich einordnen.Die Band lässt sich, wie du schon sagst, nicht so richtig in ein Genre pressen. Die Musik liegt irgendwo zwischen Black, Progressive und Folk Metal. Dazu kommen teilweise noch Elemente des Dark Ambient.
Es kommt aber von der Atmosphäre her den älteren drei Ulver Alben recht nah.Aah, kenn ich gar nicht. Da muss ich mal reinhören.
Strahlt eine Art Erhabenheit aus. Weitere Bands der Richtung?Hmm, leider kenn ich keine Gruppen, die einen ähnlichen Stil pflegen.

Der Text ist natürlich ne eigene Sache, aber der Typ, der hat doch nicht wirklich ne Stimme...das mit der stimme beurteile ich als punk-, metal- und gothic-hörer nicht mehr wirklich, seine nervt mich immerhin nicht, und das ist inzwischen das wichtigste kriterium ;D

Serendipity: Klar hör ich auch noch Unterschiede in Simmqualitäten ;) Veljanov find ich auch je neuer, desto besser z.B., nur über das Englisch von Deine Lakaien stolpere ich immer noch ;D macht aber nix, mag die genauso wie andere Bands die Lyrics von nicht-englisch-Muttersprachlern nutzen

Seabound mag ich total gern (y) kennst du mind.in.a.box (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twE1AsJWESU&feature=related)? Da muss man sich ein bisschen einhören, da das Konzeptalben sind, aber dann ist Gänsehautfeeling garantiert, vor allem wenn man ein bisschen Feingefühl für Texte hat.

Das stimmt, Veljanovs Englisch ist speziell, aber ich mag das total gern, schlechter zurecht komm ich mit allzu starkem deutschen Akzent im Englischen, da gibts vor allem viele Bands im Industrial/EBM-Bereich, die echt schlimm sind, da kann ich mir das Grinsen schlecht verkneifen :D
