Vielleicht finden sich hier ein paar, die auch eines der Geräte besitzen oder demnächst besitzen möchten.
Außer dem Sola setzt Sony auf internen Speicher wie bei den iPhones oder auch den One S- XL, es gibt also keinen physikalischen SD Kartenslot. Dafür aber durch den Mirco-USB der als Host funktioniert trotzdem eine flexible Erweiterungsmöglichkeit mit USB Sticks etc.
Da ich mit meinem SXS 32GB fahre, davon out of the box noch 25.7GB nutzbar sind, komme ich dank Dropbox doch länger damit hin, als ich es mir ausdenken könnte. Von meinem Milestone mit der 8GB Karte die nie voll wurde, ein großer Sprung nach vorne.
Ansonsten finde ich die Haptik toll, es fühlt sich sehr wertig an und sieht auch so aus. Die Bravia Engine macht sich gut, schön kontrastreich und hell, mit 342ppi lässt es im Vergleich das 4S, One X und auch das S3 hinter sich, bei einigen deutlich, bei anderen marginal. Srufen und lesen also gestochen scharf, genauso Videos in FullHD Qualität machen Spaß. Das UI ist von Sony mit einigen Gadgets aufgewertet worden, die nett daherkommen, wer Android aber kennt, findet sich direkt zurecht und stellt alles in 10 Minuten komplett ein.
Die Kamera setzt zwar nicht neue Maßstäbe, macht aber eine 10Mpix Kompakt überflüssig. Eigentlich der Hauptgrund meines Kaufes, weil das hätte noch extra angestanden und so wäre die nächste Option nur eine DSLR.
Downside bei der NXT Serie ist leider der 5-fache Homescreen, welcher nicht reduzierbar ist, bin nicht so der Scrollfanatic. ICS gibt es ebenso wenig, soll aber bald folgen. Flüssig läuft es trotzdem. Auch sind mir so einige Apps zuviel vorinstalliert, welche zwar über die normale Installion toller integriert sind, für den einen oder anderen aber gänzlich uninteressant, McAffee, Facebook, Playstore, EA Store, Wisepilot usw. Hier ist wohl Root mit Deinstallation der Apps unumgänglich. Der Akku soll sich ebenfalls erst nach einigen Zyklen mit den anderen High End Smartphones messen lassen, wozu aber das SXS mit seinen ~400€ eigentlich bedingt hingehört, da ist die Konkurrenz gute 125€ (25%) teurer. Mag auch sein das die Adreno 220 GPU einige Spieler abschreckt oder das der Qualcomm 1.5GHz DC ebenso zu wenig ist. Doch eigentlich ist so ein Gerät eher als Tele, SMS, Browser und Knippse gedacht, wie jedes Smartphone.
Ich bin gespannt wie Sony nach der Trennung von Ericsson die Handysparte weiterpflegt und ob sich das Design auch beim Endkunden als angenommen durchsetzt. Frisch wirkt alles und die Qualität stimmt auch.
