In Alaska ist Schnee und Eis. In Michigan (da sind die Bilder gemacht worden, glaube ich) natürlich nicht.
Aktuell gibt es 3 Gebiete (Michigan, Alaska und ein Gebiet in Russland) und so wie ich das bis jetzt gesehen habe hat nur Alaska Schnee.

Die Schattentechnik ist im Moment noch ein Platzhalter und wird komplett ersetzt weil aktuelle Techniken keine Schatten über dutzende oder hunderte Kilometer erlauben.

Irgendwie sehen Spiele auf den Screenshots immer besser aus, als wenn man sie selbst spielt (natürlich in max Details, 4K usw.), obwohl sie genauso aussehen. Kann mir das nicht erklären, fällt mir aber immer wieder auf.

Also IchoTolot seine Praxis mache ich mir schon InGame zunutze, damit ich da auch beim Spielen etwas von der besseren Grafik habe. ;) Nvidia-Freestyle wurde ja mittlerweile mit Reshade innerhalb GeForce Experience zu einem Werkzeug kombiniert. Aus meiner Sicht ist nvidia-Freestyle damit quasi ein Feature geworden, das ein bis zwei Grafikstufen über die Standard-Settings eines Spiels hinausgehen. Ich persönlich experimentiere da gerne mit den Settings, nutze in der Regel aber mehr Schärfe, Kontrast, je nach Spiel knalligere Farben, ohne dabei die Farbpalette selbst zu verfälschen. Und als Bonbon gibt es noch 1-2 Regler, mit denen man auch den Gesamtlook über Schärfe hinaus klarer dargestellt bekommt. Und hier in Bildern. Das einzige, was ich zusätzlich mache, ist Downsampling fürs Forum. Das aber auch nicht um die Bilder besser aussehen zu lassen, sondern aus Rücksicht auf die HD-User, die Bildgrössen in den Forumsoptionen nicht angepasst haben.

Was ist reale Spielegrafik? Die Plattform PC zeichnet sich schon seit Ewigkeiten durch das Tweaken von Configs und Modding aus. Leider ist da selbst eine ehemalige Bastion wie das 3DC im laufe der Jahre mehr und mehr zum Nap-Forum verkommen. Wenn man heutzutage mit einer Mod-Compilation von Witcher 3 im Thread auftaucht, schauen einen viele User an wie ein Ufo. Und natürlich brauchen viele das auch nicht, weil schlechtere Texturen in Vanilla-Optik ja soviel besser aussehen sollen. ;D Die Wahrheit ist doch, dass sich heutzutage nur noch wenige mit Dingen wie Modding auseinandersetzen wollen.

Egal ob es ums FoV, Tastaturlayouts, Kameraperspektiven oder dem Pimpen von Grafik geht. Gamepad anstöpseln und los gehts. Scheiss auf Farbarmut, blurige Schleier, Nebel und Matsche, auf Chromatische Aberration oder braunen Brei. Da wundert es auch nicht, dass viele Spieler heutzutage nur noch wie eine Horde übersättigter Lemminge durch die Spiele trotteln und haten. Ich kriege mit nvidia-Freestyle/Reshade die Framerate in manchen Spielen um bis zu 10-15 FPS gedrückt. Die müssen ja irgendwo herkommen und sich dementsprechend auch im Ergebnis widerspiegeln. Im Grunde genommen sind die zitierten Tools deutlich mächtiger und umfangreicher als jeder Fotomodus, den ich kenne. Es gibt zb. nichts mehr, was Ansel kann, was nvidia-Freestyle nicht auch längst kann. Mehr noch, durch die Integration von Reshade und mittlerweile unzähligen Filtern, ist Ansel in seiner Ursprungsform sogar nur noch ein alter Hut. Ich habe das in der Vergangenheit ja auch schon an Hand von Halo 2, Terminator Resistance, Dishonored 2 oder zuletzt OBSERVER usw. in Videos aufgezeigt.

Du wärst überrascht. Die Details und Perspektiven wie FoV und Unschärfe sind real. Kontrast ist erhöht ja. Aber der Rest ist real.

Das liegt daran, weil Jay.Gee unter anderem in 3440x1440 spielt, er für die Screenshots die Screenshots aber in der Auflösung verkleinert, dadurch entsteht ein SSAA Effekt -> Kantenglättung besser als in nativer Auflösung. Um das gleiche Ergebnis im Spiel bzw. auf den Monitor zu erhalten. Musstet du doppelte Auflösung einstellen (DSR/Downsampling) dafür brauchst du aber auch eine entsprechende GPU um es noch in Flüssig zu erleben. Ob da auch noch hinterher Photoshop angeworfen wird, weiß ich nicht, könnte sein, allerdings hat man mit Reshade heut zu Tage schon ein mächtiges Tool. Von daher IMO -> Nein.

Du könntest damit anfangen, im Treiber mal 16xAF Global einzustellen. Falls du hast noch nicht getan hast, 16xAF Global im Treiber ist oftmals besser als die Option in den Spielen selber, weil dort manchmal nicht alles erfasst wird.

Also ich glaube nicht, dass das in Zeiten von UWQHD + GIS primär am Downsampling liegt. Mein Bild ist auch in der Praxis schon knackscharf und unruhige Bilder bzl. AA sind im heutigen Zeitalter ~ab WQHD doch eh mittlerweile die Ausnahme. Ich habe InGame ja den direkten Kontrast und kann das via Hotkey doch in Echtzeit vergleichen. Und da springen neben der zusätzlichen Schärfe, die ich mittlerweile standardmässig in eigentlich fast jedem Spiel nutze, für mich vor allem die wärmeren Farben, der zusätzliche Kontrast und der eine oder andere Filter, der den Look klarer erscheinen lässt, für mich ins Auge.

Siehe die Settings aus Halo 2, nach denen du mich bei Youtube vor kurzem gefragt hast. Wenn du sie getestet hast, solltest du gemerkt haben, dass es exakt die von mir genannten Filter sind, die das Spiel so ganz ohne Downsampling auf ein höheres optisches Niveau hieven. In drei Spielen, die ich auf den letzten Seiten hier gepostet habe, war ich zudem noch in der Config aktiv, habe Schatten aufgewertet, die CA + Haze-Effkte deaktiviert usw.

Dass ich zusätzlich jemand bin, der ein sehr gutes Auge für Motive und Content hat, spielt bei meinen Bildern natürlich auch noch ein wenig mit rein. Es ist ja jetzt nach den ganzen Jahren hier kein Geheimnis, dass ich Bilder auch sehr gut komponieren und inszenieren kann.

Was hältst du davon deine Bilder einfach nativ zu posten? Ohne Resizen? So entsteht kein Fake AA und deine Bilder wurde einfach natürlicher wirken. In der jetzigen Briefmarken Auflösung wird halt einfach falscher Eindruck vermittelt.

Nichts halte ich davon, sonst hätte ich das ja schon längst in der Vergangenheit getan. Zum einen komme ich da mittlerweile in Bereiche von 5-8 MB pro Bild - und zum anderen habe ich in dem Kontext keine Lust auf Thumbnails. Das, was ich mit meinen Bildern einfangen möchte, kommt in meinen Screens glaube ich ganz gut rüber. BtW sieht ein HD-User eine Auflösung von 2560* grösser als Du, bei gleicher Monitorgrösse in UWQHD. 16:9 User, also die meisten User, müssten zudem selbst in WQHD seitlich scrollen und würden das Bild nicht als Ganzes sehen, von den HD-Usern ganz zu schweigen. Es sei denn, sie haben die Bilderbreite wie viele User in den Forums-Optionen beschränkt. Aber die bekommen dann ja quasi automatisch Downsamling. ;) Empfehle ich eh jedem, denn so wird speziell der Screen-Thread erst wirklich zum Genuss. Mal ernsthaft, ich glaube nicht, dass das Problem bei der Betrachtung meiner Bilder wirklich darin liegt, dass ich sie von UWQHD benutzerfreundlich auf ein HD-Format downsample. Und noch sicherer bin ich mir, dass das Downsampling im Zusammenhang der Diskussion überhaupt nicht wirklich gemeint war.

Das ist richtig. Downsampling spielt da evtl. ein wenig mit ein, war aber nicht der Grund meiner Frage, warum Bilder hier im Forum besser aussehen. Ich dachte da eher an diverse Tools, die (Ingame oder nicht Ingame (was im Sinne des Threads "illegal" wäre)) verwendet werden, denn über Texturpacks hinaus verwende ich persönlich tatsächlich keine Bildverbesserer und so entsteht bei mir der Eindruck im Forum sehen die Spiele besser aus, als auf meinem PC. Ein anderer Gedanke von mir war, dass man die Grafik eines Spiel besser wahrnimmt, wenn man sie auf den Bildern im Forum betrachtet, als wenn man selbst mitten im Spiel beschäftigt ist. Zum einen eben wegen der Handlung, zum anderen evtl. wegen der Bewegung. In Bewegung offenbaren sich eine ganze Reihe an Artefakten, die man auf statischen Screenshots nichts sehen kann.

Verfluchte Shice mit HDR in HZD, könnte damit nur verwaschene Screenshots posten. :mad:
HDR aufnahmen egal ob Video oder Photo sind echt noch ein riesen Problem. Da haben die Software Hersteller noch einiges zu tun. Nicht mal nVidias Shadowplay kann HDR aufnehmen.
Vom weiterverarbeiten rede ich noch gar nicht, nur die extrem teuren Videobearbeitungs Software kann das. Aber ich will mir kein Programm für mehrere Hundert € kaufen.

Also Lichtstimmung und Landschaft sind in RDR2 um einiges besser, obwohl das Game deutlich älter ist. HZD sieht IHMO doch recht künstlich aus.
HZD sieht mehr nach Spiel aus und schlägt eben nicht die Realismusschiene so stark ein wie RDR2. Das ist aber nicht unbedingt schlecht. Im Fall von HZD passt das wunderbar (imho).

P.S. HZD ist älter als RDR2 ;)

Danke für die Blumen, Worf. ;) Das sieht aufwendiger aus, als es ist. Oft bleibe ich in Spielen einfach an Momenten/Szenerien stehen, die mir ins Auge springen und die ich mir gerne etwas genauer anschaue. Das Experimentieren mit den Perspektiven passiert dann fast schon beiläufig. Zumal letzteres auch wirklich eine menge Spass macht, besonders mit dem MFS 2020, der viele Dinge für mich auf ein komplett neues Level hievt.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided - Max Settings DX11 (no MSAA), nofilter notools

Man sieht, dass sich seit 2016 nicht so viel getan hat und wir stark an der Konsolengeneration hängen. Ziemlich gute Einstimmung auf Cyberpunk. Die Texturen sind wirklich gut, das Spiel hat halt auch ordentlich Macken (DX12 und MSAA sind unspielbar auf einer 2080Ti).

Ja einer stimmigsten Welten die ich bis jetzt gespielt hab, kaum ein anderes Game hat so eine gute Beleuchtung und die Weitsicht bei klaren Wetter ist hervorragend. Ich finde sowieso das eine gute Beleuchtung eine der wichtigsten Faktoren für eine stimmige Grafik ist, dazu ist das Wettersystem famos.

Ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf Assassin's Creed Valhalla ob es ähnliche Panoramen zaubern kann :)

Danke dir :) Ich spiele normalerweise in 2k alles auf Ultra bis auf msaa das hab ich aus weil es zuviel Leistung frisst, wenn ich aber Screenshots machen möchte schalte ich hoch auf 5k und mache eine Foto Tour, da stört es mich auch nicht das die Fps niedrig sind weil ich mich einfach gern mit den Foto Settings spiele so wie im "echten Leben " wo ich hauptsächlich Landschafts und Street Fotografie mache :)

Was mir erst letztens aufgefallen ist das sich sogar die Umgebung in den Augen spiegelt, einfach unglaublich an wieviele Details sie gedacht haben!

DAS ist echt aus dem Spiel? Oh Mann ... wann kommt endlich die 3080 TI 20 GB auf den Markt, damit ich diese Spiele auch zocken kann. Hab mich auch mal an RDR2 versucht. Ich mag es einfach mich in der Welt zu bewegen. Die Nebeleffekte oder Sandstürme und so weiter sind einfach traumhaft umgesetzt.

Am Besten ist die Beleuchtung mit Morgennebel oder nachts im Camp mit Lagerfeuer und halt Saint Denis bei Nacht mit den vielen verschiedenen Lichtquellen. :eek:

Kommt drauf an, auf welchem Monitor und in welcher Perspektive man es angesehen hat. Bei mir war es noch im Halbschlaf in der Früh auf der Arbeit am "vorbeigehen" ... da wirkte das Bild ziemlich real ;)

Das stimmt. Am Handy mit Skalierung sieht es wirklich gut aus. Am einem richtigen Monitor ist aber genau das Gegenteil der Fall. Was fällt auf? Das Aliasing, die angesprochenen Low Res Texturen am Geweih oben, und das richtig miese Fell. Leider richtig gruselig sogar, wie schlecht es ist. ^^
Was postiv ist, ist den Augen des Tieres, haben sie eine Cubemap eingebaut die eine RT Reflektion vorgaukeln soll.

Ich selbst kann leider auch nicht damit dienen (System zu schwach), aber hier ein paar ganz schnelle Screens direkt aus dem Game (nicht Fotomode) - mit der Optik läuft es mit einem frames cap von 50 fps ganz gut....
