"Things just got worse for Nividia on Febuary 5. There new mobile chip the G Force 4200 TO GO has been delayed due to heat issues and power issues in according to a major notebook manufactor. They notebook manufactor says they are having extreme problems with heat produced by the 4200 TO GO Chip and have halted all futher notebook design around the 4200 To GO Chip. Notebooks with the 4200 TO GO mobile processor was due in December 2002. This is a huge blow because now Nvidia does not have any performance product for the laptop market. ATI 9000 is the fastest mobile solution right now. ATI also will have the M10 out in just a month. The 4200 To GO was supposed to compete with the M10(R300) core. This mobile video chipset for Nvidia is in much terrible condition than the desktop. Some experts feel this delay will have 10 times more impact then the (FX) delays."
... war IMO abzusehen.
nVidia hats wieder mal übertrieben. Aber hauptsache das Teil wurde bereits zur Comdex im Nov. 2002 "gelaunched"
