Klingt für mich wie die beste Smartwatch am Markt!
Als Novum kann das Band galvanische Hautreaktion überwachen. Dieses Verfahren, das unter anderem auch Bestandteil eines Lügendetektors ist, dient der Analyse des Stresslevels. Sämtliche Auswertungen können dabei in der App ausgelesen werden

ich bin immer noch der meinung, dass smartbänder durchaus sinvoll sind, smartwatches, aber nicht.
ich habe aber die befürchtung lügen gestraft zu werden und die setzen sich vllt doch zum teil druch. wer von den ganzen hippen icewatch trägen würde nicht liebend gerne 200 bis 400 euro in die hand nehmen um eine coole iwatch zu tagen :)


mal sehen, ob die schweizer in 3 jahren ein paar richtige smartwatches bauen :)

Meiner Ansicht nach kann eine Smartwatch zwar durchaus interessant sein aber ich sehe für mich zwei elementare Kritikpunkte:
Eine Uhr im klassischen Format ist heute in erster Linie Stilmittel bzw. modisches Accessoire. Deshalb sind "analoge" Uhren alles andere als ausgestorben.
Die Vielfalt an Sensorik in einer typischen Smartwatch ist zwar nett aber der Nutzen hält sich aufgrund des Formfaktors zwangsläufig in Grenzen. Wer will schon mit so einem Kasten im Gesicht aufwachen ? ;)

Im Gegensatz dazu gefällt mir das von Microsoft vorgestellte Konzept wesentlich besser. In Zukunft noch das Display flexibel in das Band einarbeiten (höhere Ergonomie, OLED etc.) und meine Wünsche wären abseits der Laufzeit erfüllt. Biometrie sehe ich neben Benachrichtigungen als eine der absoluten Kernfunktionen bei Wearables und für ersteres spielt der Formfaktor eine ganz elementare Rolle. Je seltener das Gerät vom Körper muss desto vollständiger ist der Datensatz.

Wenn die nicht das fette Lizenzgeschäft im Rücken hätten, wären die schon lange weg vom Fenster.
