KDE Connect bietet einige Möglichkeiten zur Anbindung eines Android Smartphones an den PC.
Die Anbindung erfolgt auf der Smartphone Seite per App, auf dem PC ist KDE Connect zu installieren. Die Anbindung erfolgt in lokalen Netz, eine Cloud Instanz ist damit nicht nötig.
Das Smartphone/Pad kann gleich als Eingabegeräte für den PC benutzt werden, entweder als Touchpad, oder auch als Fernbedienung für Medienplayer. Notifications werden auf den PC Übertragen, Dateiaustausch ist möglich, auch das Clipboard kann übertragen werden.
