da der alte topic nicht mehr da ist, mache ich einen neuen auf. hier ein paar Zitate:

For now HoloLens costs $3000, it may cost several thousand dollars more if larger glass needs to be included. Another reason Microsoft didn’t opt for larger field of view is battery life. When you want to project more, battery goes down exponentially. Microsoft even tried it and with the current battery capability, HoloLens can run only for 20 mins. But in future, when manufacturing cost comes down and battery life gets improved, we may get Field of View in HoloLens.

Ein weiterer Grund der genannt wurde, ist Motion Sickness. Man wird also niemals (auch wenn es technisch möglich) auf ein so großes FoV setzen, wie es beispielswiese bei VR der Fall ist. Das periphere Sehen sollen nicht beeinträchtig werden und man weiterhin seine Umwelt wahrnehmen.
Man wird das FoV aber verbessern können und werden, wenn der Fertigungsprozess der Gläser besser wird und wenn es neue verbesserte Akkutechnologien gibt.
Das imho aber Interessanteste war die Tatsache, dass es sich um eine ganz normale Windows 10 Platform handelt. Man kann also eine Bluetooth Maus und Tastatur anschließen und Destktopprogamme bedienen.
