verstehe diese Redewendung nicht ganz, was ist damit gemeint?

Ich denke damit ist gemeint, dass Derjenige so stark in eine Frau verknallt ist, dass er sich ein Tattoo mit ihrem Namen auf seinen Arm stechen lassen will.
Könnte sich mittlerweile auch evtl. verselbstständigt haben d.h. dass man das auch sagt, wenn man sich in Wahrheit nicht tätowieren lassen will. Einfach um seine starke Zuneigung auszudrücken.

Mir ist nicht bewusst, dass das eine Redewendung wäre.
Ich würde das als Zuneigungsbekundung deuten.

Vielleicht kommt der "Redewendung-Gedanke" daher, dass es oft in Liedern benutzt wird.

Glaub ich weniger, es wird schon einen bestimmten Sinn haben,
darum wird die Redewendung öfters in Liedern benutzt, nicht weil es oft genutzt wird.
