Qualcomm hat als Chipschmiede offenbar erkannt, dass man den Treibersupport (gerade für ein Produkt im oberen Segment) besser nicht nach WindowsUpdate auslagert oder diesen den Geräteherstellern allein überlässt.
Das steigert nicht nur die Zufriedenheit der Endkunden, sondern hilft die eigenen Produkte im Gespräch zu halten.
