moin.

bisher war ich immer der meinung in der xbox sitzt nichts anderes als ein abgewandelter geforce4 chip. doch nun lese ich immer häufiger der chip entspreche eher einer geforce3. was stimmt jetzt?

ich bin der meinung, dass es ein verbesserter geforce 3 chip ist - also geforce 3,4 ;)

Das Teil ist AFAIK ein Hybride zw. GF3 und GF4.

AFAIK hat das Teil aber kein LMA.

NV2A liegt irgendwo zwischen NV20 und NV25. AFAIK aber näher am NV25.

Man hat wohl einfach das vom NV25 genommen was schon fertig war und hat noch ein paar Kompressionverfahren für Texturen und Vertexbuffer dazugepackt damit die 64 MB reichen.
