Problem mit Plextor Px-w4824a

Hi

ich hab mit oben genantem brenner ein fettes prob namlich folendes wenn ich mit nero 5.5 eine 24x rw brennen will probiert er ca. 1 minute zu brennen und bricht dann mit diser fehler meldung ab "power calibration error" woran kann das liegen 10x rw's brennt er ohne prob auch cd-r's sind kein prob ach so die FW ist 1.03

Ich denke mal, dass sich dein Brenner mit deinen RW-Rohlingen nicht verträgt. Funktioniert es, wenn du die 24x mit weniger Speed beschreibst? Hast du mal andere Rohlinge probiert?

ich hab die rw von plextor geht nich unt mit denn 700mb rw's verbatim gehts auch nicht welche solte ich denn nehmen?

Welche RW da wirklich gut sind kann ich dir auch nicht sagen, mein Brenner brennt die net so schnell!

Aber Plextor sagt folgendes zu deinem Fehler:

At the beginning of the writing process the drive will perform a test to determine the optimal Laser power for the CDR media. When the drive is not able to determine the power a "power calibration error" will be shown.
Because the test is a combination of the drive and the CDR media both should be verified.
- Make sure you have the latest firmware for your writer installed.
- Make sure you use branded quality CDR media, or recommended Media by Plextor.
- Try different branded media, maybe you just bought a bad batch.
- If the problem still consists contact the Plextor Helpdesk.
Danach liegts entweder am Brenner (Firmware) oder einfach an schlechten Medien!

ok thx hab mir grad die neue Firmware gezogen und werd mal schaun obs damit klapt

auf jeden Fall mal die neue FW drauf hauen ( www.firmware-flash.com ) und ein Nero-Update bei www.ahead.de ziehen
