Palomino mit SSE(2)!!

The Athlon H-Series includes SSE+, which may or may not be called 3DNow! Pro, and extensions to the instruction set include Intel Screaming Sindie 1 and 2 single and double precision floating point instructions. AMD will continue to support 3DNow, even in Hammer, when it arrives.

Developers will be able to choose between AMD and Intel 3D instruction in either Screaming Sindies or 3DNow, but the H Series of Athlons can run with fully optimised code.

Preliminary benchmarketing seen by The Inquirer show an 80 per cent boost in Photoshop 5.5 and 6.0 lighting effects, and the 3D StudioMax Heidi Renderer is something like 34 per cent up.

Soll die Athlon H-Serie etwa schon der Palomino sein? Oder handelt es sich da nicht eher um den Nachfolger vom Palomino?
Sinn würde es ja ergeben, jetzt nachdem Intel und AMD kürzlich erst ein Patent-Cross-Vertrag abgeschlossen/verlängert haben.
