Ashli Demo
This demo illustrates Ashli , an advanced shading language interface tool, in performing real time rendering on hardware when applying complex shaders. Shader programs demonstrated are written in both the RenderMan® and OpenGL shading language. Progressive rendering, as Ashli virtualizes long shaders and breaks them down into hardware resource fitting segments, is largely used throughout. The demo is multi-platform, where target hardware shaders emitted are in either DirectX 9.0 (VS and PS 2.0) and OpenGL arb_{vertex, fragment}_program format. Optionally, Microsoft FX metafile generation is depicted under the DirectX platform
