Schöne Screenshots. Das was mir aber an der Mster 3.0 nicht gefällt, ist, einerseits, dass sie deutlich mehr fps zieht, als die 2.35 und andererseits, dass die Tiefenunschärfe zu brutal ist. In 1280x720 sieht das alles schon ziemlich verwaschen aus. ;(

Ja mit der performance ist es schlechter mit der v3.0.
Die tiefenunschärfe kannst du wieder deaktivieren,in dem du in der console oder in der autoexec.cfg "r_DepthOfField=0" schreibst.

Das Spiel bietet eine sehr schöne Architektur und interessante Beleuchtung.

Ob Du denkst, dass man es erkennt oder nicht, ist leider nicht wichtig.

Habe mir vor ein paar Tagen dann doch mal UT3 gekauft. Irgendwie kann ich die ganze Diskussion um UT3 bzw. die Engine nicht nachvollziehen (Scheiss-Texturen, alles gefaked, alles "verbloomed", alles nur graubraun etc.).
Sowohl von der "technischen Optik" als auch dem Design her ist das Spiel imho ganz große Klasse...so einige von den Levels würden auch einem Singleplayer-Spiel gut zu Gesicht stehen.

44fps waren es z.B. beim zweiten Shot. Das Spiel läuft mittlerweile sehr gut, aber die shots musste ich mit prtscrn machen, fraps croppt bei mir leider auf 1920x1200.

Das sieht irgendwie "komisch" aus. Hochmodelierte(s) Model/Playerfigur aber echt bescheidene Umgebung(stexturen).
Das passt nicht, hackt sich geradezu!

Der Fokus des Shots liegt in der Tat beim Model. Ich kann mich noch daran erinnern, als ich damals die ersten Rendershots zu Halo 2 gesehen habe. Es war irgendwie unvorstellbar seinerzeit, dass man soetwas mal in ~Echtzeit InGame erleben darf. Man muss sich da einfach mal den Kontrast vor Augen halten, wie Playermodels in Spielen noch im letzten Jahr aussahen. Was rede ich - wie sehen sie zum Teil heute noch aus? Das was UT3 da abliefert, ist zum Teil schon derbe.

Den DL zu der Map gibts in der Fotosession". *Ctf-ephemeral* Minimalistisch mit starken Kontrasten im Design - so, dass es InGame sehr futuristisch wirkt. Ich kann den UT-Gamern nur empfehlen, die Map mal zu spielen und alles auf sich wirken zu lassen. Sehr unreal alles. =)

Du hast recht, es ist Age of Conan, das habe ich nicht geschrieben da ich denke man erkennt es. Auflösung 1920x1200 und fast maximale Details, leider aber ohne FSAA. Für 1920x1200 plus FSAA reicht mein PC bei AoC nicht mehr.
C2D E6700, 4 GB Ram, Geforce 8800 GTX
also bei framerate reicht der netmal dafür oO

Jo, Max Payne 1 oder 2 zocke ich heute noch gerne.

Dabei ist es mir egal ob Eierkopf oder nicht eher ein dickes + das man die Spiele einfach so auf die Widescreen-Auflösungen einstellen kann.
Das bieten manche Games ja noch nichtmal heute an ... (siehe z.b. BF 2)

Jo das Game hat in der Tat was, schade das sich anscheinend nicht so viele Pcler dafür interessieren.

zu deinem Problem, also versuche mal unter C:\benutzer\name\appData\local\capcom\devilmaycry4\config.ini
dort die Auflösung einzutragen.

den Pfad für XP weiß ich jetzt nicht, dürfte aber dort ähnlich sein
vermutlich unter benutzername\Anwendungsdateien\capcom

vorher in den Ordner-Optionen natürlich alle Dateien und Ordner anzeigen auswählen.

Richtig, wenn das Bild gestreckt wird, ist faktisch überhaupt keine Widescreen-Unterstützung vorhanden. Eine Widescreen-Auflösung einzustellen ist kein Hexenwerk, das kann man notfalls auch mit einer modifizierten Direct3D-DLL bewerkstelligen.

Das sei dir auch gegönnt. Für mich ist Crysis komplett flüssig spielbar solange der GPU_Bench 40fps liefert.

Spiele es mit Vista64, 4GB Ram, einem Q6600@3,5Ghz und einer GTX280er@730/1400/1150.
Das Spiel ist noch etwas getweakt, der Community Patch 1.6 ist installiert.

Die Matsch-Grenze ist auf 20000 und die Vegetation auf 10000 eingestellt.
Diese Tweaks lassen sich ganz komfortabel mit dem G3 Tuning Utility (http://www.worldofgothic.de/dl/index.php?go=downloads&release_id=271) einstellen.

Die FPS schwanken je nach Szene von 25-60 FPS (vsync on).
Wobei das Spiel mit 25 FPS imho noch gut spielbar ist.

Ich verstehe nicht wieso timeshift gegenüber den anderen games ´07 so untergehen konnte, für mich persönlich das meist unterschätzte game der letzten jahre. Spielerisch ist es um längen besser als crysis (bevor die crysis jünger aufschreien, es ist meine meinung ;) ) . Grafisch muss es sich auch nicht verstecken, sieht imho bombe aus :up: Es gibt nichts besseres als time-freeze und dann voll drauf bratzen :ugly: "Wheres my gun ?!!!" *batsch* :ugly:

Also Grid sieht mal echt schlecht aus, sah GTR2 nicht schon besser aus? Diese häßliche Bloom-Beleuchtung finde ich einfach nur schrecklich und die Automodelle könnten von vor 3 Jahren sein, das Spiel sieht so künstlich aus, ist das gewollt?

Sollten die Umgebungsgrafiken auch nicht so toll sein?

GT5 Prologue ist da ne andere Dimension, ausgenommen natürlich die Umgebungsgrafiken, die sind etwa gleich (schlecht). ;)

Wir haben da exakt die gleiche Sichtweise. Schon klar, dass Shooter-Gamer Spielen wie Crysis, UT3, OrangeBox, GoW & Co den Vortritt geben. Aber das ein so cooles Setting & Actiongameplay dann doch so untergeht, finde ich verdammt schade für die Entwickler. Das Game sieht saugeil aus, fühlt sich imho genauso fett an wie FEAR und die Timespielchen - sehr sahnig!

Hm. Ich finde das sieht kaum besser aus als in diversen anderen Spielen auch. Standard Spiegelung und Refraktion. Im Gegensatz zum Meer nichts besonderes. Kann sein, dass das in Bewegung nicht der Fall ist, die Bilder sind jedenfalls nicht so geil.

Und die Texturqualität bzw. die Qualität der Umgebungen ist bei PGR4 immer noch unangefochten. Auf den Fotos von Dildo könnte ich höchstens ankreiden, dass das Auto irgendwie schwebend aussieht.

Gerade die Automodelle finde ich sehr gut, auch die Umgebungen sind ziemlich gut für ein Rennspiel.

Ja die Screenshots finde ich auch nicht gut, ich weis aber von der PGR 4 Demo das das Spiel in "echt" besser aussieht.

Schmeiß bitte mal GTR2 an und sieh nach, was du da grade gesagt hast. Die Optik dieser Spiele zu vergleichen ist fast Trollcharakter. Grade in Sachen Optik finde ich GTR2 mittlerweile zum Abgewöhnen, aber was will man machen... :)

Weil das so verstrahlt aussieht, der look auf dem ersten Bild ist viel klarer. Gefällt mir auch besser, obwohl vielleicht von der technischen Sichtweise Grid besser einzustufen wäre.

UT3 beeindruckt mich immer wieder. Die Vielfalt der Maps, die Farben und Formen.. klasse Bilder.

Obwohl ich kaum Online Spiele und mich das Spiel sonst nicht übermäßig interessiert: Ich glaube, wenn mir das Spiel irgendwo mal günstig über den Weg läuft, wird es allein deswegen gekauft.

GRID - 1680x1050 8xSQ-16xS/16xAF max. Details + eigene Mod.

Habe gerade festgestellt, dass selbst 1680x1050 8xS/16xAF mit der übertakteten G80GTS spielbar ist (auch wenn grenzwertig - ~28-37fps). 1440x900 8xS/16xAF geht dann locker flockig mit ~36-45fps). Gerade in Bewegung kommen die Hybridmodis hammergeil rüber. Ich freue mich schon auf die G260GTX. =)

Ja, ist dem Anglerfisch (http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/staticfiles/NGS/Shared/StaticFiles/animals/images/800/anglerfish.jpg) nachempfunden. Und womit kann man Männer besser locken als mit nackten Frauen? (Okay leuchtende nackte Frauen würden mich schon etwas stutzig machen, aber in dem DMC Universum scheint das wohl normal ;))

durch eure bilder bekomm ich richtig lust dmc4 ma anzuzocken, aber ich glaub spielprinzip is nix für mich (was muss ma genau machen? in (hübschen) linearen leveln rumlaufen und unzählige bunte gegner killn oder? echtzeitkämpfe? wie du siehst hab ich garkeinen plan von dmc :|)

Bisher hatte sich die Resident-Evil Reihe immer das Privileg herausgenommen, als erstes exklusiv auf Sonys Playstation zu erscheinen. Mit Resident Evil 5, dem neusten Teil der Serie wird sich dies anscheinend ändern. Wie die Kollegen von gamesurf berichten, "soll Resident Evil zu einem Multiplattform Titel heranwachsen". So berichtet es zumindest Capcoms Keiji Inafune gegenüber dem Magazin. Demnach soll RE5 zeitgleich für die Nextgen-Konsolen Playstation 3 und Xbox 360 erscheinen. Wir dürfen gespannt sein.
