Call of Pripyat@1920x1080 - DX11 - Full Details - AAx4 & AFx16: *Nach "Shadow of Chernobyl" nach langer Zeit mal wieder meine erste Reise in die Zone. Habe CoP letzte Woche auf STEAM für ein paar Euro geschossen und die Faszination des Settings hat mich direkt wieder. Klasse Game - tolle Atmosphäre und der visuelle Style kackt die meissten Games die ich kenne immer noch gnadenlos an die Wand*

Hab jetzt die für mich am besten funktionierende "Flug" Steuerung mit meinem Thrustmaster T16000M rausgefunden. Das ganze in Kombination mit TrackIR5, ist echt ein Traum ! Und mach mächtig Laune !!

Obwohl ich STALKER für eines der grössten Games der Spiele-Geschichte halte, habe ich seinerzeit einen Bogen um "Clear Sky" gemacht. Es war mir einfach eine Portion zu verbuggt. Nach den zahlreichen Patches hoffe ich allerdings, dass es mittlerweile genauso Rund läuft wie Call of Pripyat. Letzteres gefällt mir nämlich extrem gut. Der visuelle Content vernascht den heutigen oft gängigen Konsolen-Einheitsbrei um Ligen. Die Atmosphäre ist dabei imho der absolute Wahnsinn. Ich habe mir "Clear Sky" neben Call of Pripyat jetzt auch noch zusätzlich via STEAM für ein paar Euro geordert. Diese Atmosphäre möchte ich einfach mit heutiger Hardware einmal erleben - die Locations sind für mich nämlich der Inbegriff von Atmosphäre! Call of Pripyat@1920x1080 - DX11 - Full Details - AAx4 & AFx16 - InGame "ohne Bügeleisen": *Wie schon bei meinem ersten Trip durch "Shadow of Chernobyl" bin ich von der atemberaubenden Atmosphäre einfach überwältigt. Ich kenne nur 1-2 andere Games, in denen das World-Design (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/the-zone-s-t-a-l-k-e-r-clear/35845) sooooo krass bei mir über kommt. Das Game ist in diesen Settings imho ein absolutes Erlebnis*

Geil...ich freu mich schon auf einen zweiten Durchgang mit meiner morgen eintreffenden GTX 460.
Was Athmosphäre und Locations angeht, liegen alle drei Teile bei mir in der ewigen Bestenliste gaaanz weit oben. Am liebsten in der Nacht/Dämmerung mit nem ordentlichen Gewitter und Prasselregen....spätabends im dunklen Zimmer mit Kopfhörer auf ordentliche Lautstärke ist das echt ein Erlebnis.

P.S.: Die Arma 2-Screens gefallen mir immer sehr....massig Details und eine schöne realitätsnahe Spielwelt ohne übertriebenes Bling-Bling.

Quake 4 @1920x1080 AA Supersampling (NV Treiber) + NG Shader Mod. Wie ich finde, kann sich die Grafik immer noch sehen lassen und deklassiert sogar das eine oder andere aktuelle Game.

Schön mal wieder was von dir zu sehen. Klasse Bilder. :up:

Empfinde ich auch so. Ich habe zur Zeit Urlaub und spiele CoP bei der Hitze derzeit überwiegend Nachts mit schwacher Lichtquelle. Die Locations und die Atmosphäre sind wirklich aller erste Sahne. Ich bin richtig froh, dass ich diese Reise erst mit heutiger Hardware und vor allem im gepatchten Zustand antrete. Danach kralle ich mir sofort ClearSky, wobei ich mir noch unsicher bin, ob ich den MainContent, oder aber die Complete-Mod nutzen soll. Das Game hat mich total gepackt. =)

Ja, leider. Und als Krönung gibts bei DX11 lustige weiße Punkte an den Objektkanten beim Einsatz von MSAA, das sieht erst recht übel aus. Mit der MSAA-Implementierung glänzen die gewiss nicht. Hätte eigentlich gedacht, dass spätestens mit DX11 man es in den Griff bekommt. Tja... falsch gedacht.

UDK: Building Better Worlds

Ein Bild aus meiner Serie "Building Better Worlds" mit der Unreal Engine 3. Ich hoffe es gefällt denn es hat durchaus ein bisschen gedauert.
Ist komplett nur im Editor entstanden und komplett Ingame-Grafik und natürlich mit dem krass neuen Lightmass :).

Etwas zur Entstehung dieses Bildes. Zur Berechnung benötigt man mehr als 4GB Ram ^^. Darunter läuft nix mehr heutzutage.

Edit: Das ist das erste Bild aus dieser Enviroment!

Der Hintergrund am Boden entschwindet schon nach kurzer Zeit im Nebel und wird unscharf, der Himmel beleibt aber klar und die Monde bleiben scharf, dadurch rücken die Monde und der Himmel näher an den Betrachter als der Hintergrund und das Bild wirkt "falsch". Auch das Wolkenband, welches von rechts nach links läuft, wird von den Monden "abgefangen", das wirkt auch nicht richtig.
Ansonsten sieht es aber gut aus.

Lass mich raten, du hast es noch nicht gespielt? :)

BFBC2 ist wieder so ein Spiel welches sich ziemlich schwer in Bildern fassen lässt. Man muss es in Bewegung gesehen haben. Du kannst zb. mit Bildern keinen Sandsturm erfassen. Das einzige was mich in diesem Spiel stört ist das imho viel zu große HUD und die Waffe. Und natürlich auf der technischen Seite die fehlerhafte Implementierung von MSSA. Auch sind ein paar Schatten fehlerhaft (selbst in DX11). Ich werde versuchen noch paar Videos zu erstellen, vielleicht kommt es dann besser rüber.

Ach Gott ... habe nur auf die Schnelle gegoogelt (http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=call+of+juarez+bound+in+blood+directx&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B3GGGL_deDE321DE322&ie=UTF-8) und was von Directx 10 gelesen (Habe mich vor ein paar Wochen beim installieren auf meine OVP draufgesetzt und da habe ich 'se dann weggeschmissen. Musste leider googlen). Werde es sofort ändern. Ich vertrau dir jetzt mal, dass es DX9 ist ;)

Doch, ich habs durch und war enttäuscht. Alles total statisch und "platt", besonders diese Dschungelpartien, urgs. Einzig die Explosionen und Zerstörbarkeit der Gebäude fand ich in Ordnung. War eher wie ein leicht gepimptes CSS.

Mit 16xQ/8xSGSSAA ist es jedenfalls auf 1920x1200 mit meinen .ini tweaks und Texturmods (wobei letztere vermutlich nur Vram fressen) nicht mehr wirklich spielbar, da dümpelt man schon im 20fps Bereich herum und phasenweise auch darunter.:tongue:
In Dungeons ist das kein Problem, aber nicht in offener Landschaft mit über die .ini ordentlich gepimpter Sichtweite.
Für die Grafik von Risen, die sicherlich nicht schlecht ist aber absolut nichts besonderes, ist das Game in hohen Auflösungen ein elendiges Performance Grab.
Gespielt wird das bei mir mit mit 8xQ + 16AF HQ, was auch schon sehr fein aussieht und da ist noch genug Luft um mehr reinzuklatschen, sobald man mit nennenswertem SGSSAA anfängt wird es aber grenzwertig.
Da bräuchte man schon ein 480er SLI.:freak:

Die Benchmarks kennst du ja vermutlich auch, daran kann man schon sehen was für ein Performance Grab das Game erst Recht mit SGSSAA ist, wobei meine GTX480 mit ordentlich OC schon noch was draufpackt im Vergleich zu den Benches einer non OC HD5870.
Für immer flüssige Spielbarkeit reicht es mit 8xSGSSAA aber vorne und hinten nicht.

Muss aber auch dazu sagen das ich es mit Brute Force erzwungen habe über das Control Panel, mit .exe renaming in vanguard.exe und dem nhancer Vanguard Profil, die eigentliche Methode Risen AA beizubringen, ist es eventuell ressourcensschonender.
Suckt halt das der nhancer aktuell inkompatibel ist mit der neuen Treiberbarchitektur.
So oder so wird man für Risen und nennenswertes SGSSAA @ 1920x1200 wohl Multi-GPU brauchen und selbst ein 5870CF wird für 8xSGSSAA und wahrscheinlich selbst für 4xSGSSAA nicht durchgehend ausreichen.

So, b2t, ich pack noch ein paar Risen Impressionen drauf.

Starcraft 2. Old school gameplay is always worth money. max settings, 16xAF, 1680x1050 and forced 4xMSAA/TSAA with ATI Catalyst drivers v10.7a. Must say it looks impressive and cutscenes are top notch aswell as voice acting.

Leider werden da nicht alle Texturen ersetzt, weswegen ich da tw. selbst Hand angelegt hab. Vll. pack ich mal alles zusammen in einen DL.

3840x2160 -->> 1920x1080 -->> 16:9 sollten eigentlich passen. Wobei die Proportionen speziell auf Bild4 etwas gequetscht wirken. Werde die CFG. bei Gelegenheit noch einmal checken. Gut möglich, dass ich versehentlich meine alte 1680*er -->> 16:10 Config genutzt habe. :)

Nur Parallax Mapping nicht Parallax Occlusion Mapping soweit ich weis. Kommt bestimmt noch :). Sieht so aus als ob ich die selbe Tex benutzt habe ^^. Für mich persöhnlich wurde es auf dem ersten Bild zu stark eingesetzt. Man sieht deutlich die Texturverzerrungen. In solchem Fall würde ich eher auf ein Geometry Objekt setzen als es per POM zu faken.

Klar könnte es so aussehen wenn du mir die richtigen Texturen beschaffst natürlich ^^. Nenn mir Quellen.

Leider habe ich keine passende, höher aufgelöste Texture gefunden. Ist nur 1024x1024 aber sieht trotzdem ganz nett aus. In 4096x4096 sieht das bestimmt Sahne aus :).

Diffuse-Map, Normal-Map, Specular-Map, Occlusion-Map, Displacement-Map. Also alles was geht.

Pulsating Nightlife aus GTA IV: Episodes From Liberty City, 2688x1680 @ 1920x1200, 1xAA, 16AF HQ, Settings = „crank that shit up motherfucker"!

(hab zwar noch ein paar höhere Auflösungen selber erstellt, Stichwort Downsampling, allerdings bekomme ich GTA IV Episodes nicht damit ans Laufen, maximal 2688x1680 was leider zum zufriedenstellenden Glätten nicht ausreicht.)

Mass Effect 2. Like the game as I see it from the POV as being an FPS with bonus of having RPG elements instead of seeing it as a downgraded RPG game.

1680x1050, forced 4xMSAA/TSAA, 16xAF, max settings + tweaked config. tweaked things like no LOD for characters, 16xshadow res (2048x2048), trilinear + AF, and different DOF strength and distance andsome other small tweaks for better graphic. Runs solid 40fps (capped at 40fps otherwise 40-60fps).

Got to love the image quality you get on PC, it looks so good. Btw I disabled the grain filter when taking screenshots as grain filter looks OK in motion but in screenshots makes them look like badly compressed JPEGs. Honestly I rather have it off than on despite being perfomance free. Makes the image and IQ 'calmer' in motion.

Was Stil und Atmosphäre angeht, ist die Stalker-Serie nach wie vor imho einsame Klasse, egal ob SoC oder CS mit Complete Mod oder CoP Vanilla :wink:.
Auch wenn bei CoP z. B. die Grasbüschel auf dem Boden einfach abgrundtief hässlich sind, die geniale Beleuchtung und das Wettersystem machen das locker wieder wett.

Same for me, plus ME2 actually works as a shooter, where ME1 imho didnt and therefore neither was a great Shooter or RPG.
